How does USC not have a top-shelf NIL program? I thought most of those people are well heeled.

There’s too much to do in LA.  I like OU just fine but living in Miami/Chicago I just don’t care that much.  If I stayed in OK (vomit) and had the same amount of money, I’d likely be donating 7 figures plus, but as it stands, I’ve got much better things to do with my money…still donating but to what I consider more worthy causes.

We consider your causes…..more worthy, too.

Where was this when he & OU raided Tenn a few years ago?  Hilarious.

No idea.  OU is a second class citizen in this new world but we can still laugh at USC.  And I’m living vicariously through you guys which doesn't feel nearly as shitty as I thought it would.  ‘Hey, much more of my family is UT vs OU!’

Whatever makes me feel better…

That's 95% on kev, but he would have never believed it for a second if it was most other coaches. So let's agree to always blame Lincoln Riley at least a little.

He hasn't cried that hard since he got his belly tat.

Weird how this flew under the radar.
Had no idea this guy dropped all the way down from NFL DC to college "Assistant head coach for defense/linebackers", whatever that is.

This.  I always mention this as well LA is where celebs can remain anonymous  not guys like Shohei or Luka level maybe. But if Lincoln Riley wore a hat and walked into a deli here he may not be noticed. In Norman?   Probably the most famous man in town

you mean all 19 people who attend USC games when they aren't contending for championships wouldn't notice him...interesting.

Truth. Before moving here from LA we used to see famous people all the time and nobody cared except TMZ.

Yep.  But to dive a bit further, I think a guy like Lincoln Riley or Matt Stafford could walk into a mall with a hat on and likely not be recognized.  They'd just blend in.  I think guys like Luka and Ohtani would get recognized

Really makes no sense that all Civil War generals were on meth (and I'm not even sure meth existed as far back as the Civil War).  Yet, I giggled.

It was the Nazi army making their few day blitzkrieg.

I think @Armybrat's great grandkids fought in the Civil War, maybe he could confirm?

CSB: Miz Long's parents were both late kids, and both their parents were likewise. Her paternal grandfather was literally the proverbial Civil War Little Drummer Boy, at age twelve. His mother - a feisty, determined woman - found out where he was, and took him back, at gunpoint.
