Damn we are so nasty at the WR position finally. This team is absolutely capable of running the tables, especially with injuries to UGA on their o-line and Beck with a sprain. Ewers will carve them up. Wingo, Cook, Helm, Moore, Golden is filthy. Blue and Wisner for screens, and Gibson to pound the ball.

Just work on Dallas Wilson and continue our dominance in FL. Make him a priority until signing day. He'll have Arch, Wingo, Lockett, Ffrench, Cook, and Moore.

Chances are low we add him, but Oregon has shit QBs after Gabriel. Reletive to the SEC, Oregon is a smaller team. They aren't winning a NC. So much to sell the kid. I'll try to temper my expectations, but Sark always manages to flip guys late, so I'll hold out a little hope.

It's only a matter of time before he flips to the good guys. A welcome addition to go with Sharma and Charles. Land Mathis and we're cooking.

Baker's recruiting paying off. Love thid staff's ability to fuck over aggy. He sees the dumpster fire,a d he knows he can win here, get developed, and contribute. Get some dawgs in the portal and we're back on top. Admittedly was underwhelmed by the Sark hire, but I've come around. He's a relentless mofo.

Same. Dallas Wilson > Johnson (obviously). But we don't need him. Wilson would make our WR room beyond elite. Ohio State elite at the position.

They play 2 very different positions.

Wilson is the taller X type receiver like Lockett and Ffrench. He'd be kind of redundant in the class.

Johnson is the quick, explosive speed receiver that we don't have in the class right now.

Johnson's the better fit for what Sark wants and what we already have in the class.

Of course I do. Look at the receivers he had at Alabama and the receivers he's recruited at Texas. If you weren't a completely brain dead dipshit you'd be able to make that observation too.

Texas hosting DL Malcolm Simpson (On3/247/composite 4 star), currently committed to Nebraska, on a visit today.

Nahlin lists him @ 270.

Hitchcock defensive lineman, Malcolm Simpson, is on campus in Austin today after his team defeated Bellville on Thursday night.

Simpson hasn’t been a household name for Texas fans but that has nothing to do with his ability. The 6-foot-3, 270-pounder is viewed as an elite athlete for his position.

The former Galveston Ball product has been committed to the Nebraska Cornhuskers since June 16th. He did notify the ‘Huskers staff of his intent to visit Texas today.

Those following Texas recruiting understand how great the need is for defensive tackles in the 2025 class. Defensive tackles coach, Kenny Baker, has two very good commitments so far but he needs at least two more in the class. Texas will suffer significant losses at the position after this season, most notably Alfred Collins and Vernon Broughton.

How could Simpson potentially fit? Well, first, he needs an offer from Texas. The staff has been doing its homework on Simpson of late and is liking what it’s learning. At this point, I’d expect an offer to come his way.

Back to the original question. Simpson is a well-built, muscled up athlete but his long-term projection is a bit of a question. I liken him to Jaray Bledsoe coming out of school. He’s an elite athlete who could potentially play Jack (outside linebacker, defensive end) early in his career before growing into a hyper-athletic interior defensive lineman.

If you’ve been reading Inside Texas of late, you know Texas has put itself in very good position to close with a massive flourish to the Class of 2025. Will Simpson ultimately be a part of it? Time will tell.

On3 is the only network that has Simpson ranked in the Top 300 but I assure that has nothing to do with his upside as a player.

On3 ranks him the No. 180 player and No. 17 defensive lineman in the country.

What's interesting about this is that this kid was following the Coffee and Football show one day this week. BB and GH gave him a shout out on the show and he made a comment in that chat I think. it was kind of random
