they are letting Tenn get away with a ton of grabbing and pushing.  that last play the guy just gave an extended forearm shiver to Allen's back.

Derka paid the refs.

My playing and coaching days are well behind me, but just some observations on what is supposed to be offense:

1. Holding the ball waaaay too damn long.

2. Not enough movement without the ball. Lots of standing around.

3. Off a shot, too much ball watching; instead of going for the rebound or boxing out.
4. Too much fucking dribbling.
5. The cuts are soft instead of sharp and hard.

A damn miracle we are ahead at half. But I’ll take it.

Old Barnes would sit this kid for two games.

That’s what made me done with Barnes because his doghouse got out of control.

We need to run the offense through Askew. He is crisp and has much better vision than any other guard on the team.

Carr needs to play less. Not saying he's totally worthless but the minutes he's getting are head-scratching at this point.

You forgot defense.  We’re ahead because of defense.

Any thoughts on the defense based on your playing and coaching days?

I mean, that's going to be how it is with Beard, but especially with this team. Maybe we see some improvements in the future with a point guard that can penetrate consistently, but overall it's going to be a methodical claw your eyes out type of offense.

I love the people who haven't paid attention at all, then they come on here, "First game I've seen this year. Let me drop several blinding glimpses of the obvious." Yeah, we know. It's been that way all year long. It's likely going to be that way in many ways in the future. Figure out how to love shot clock horns going off.

Tennessee is neither passing nor moving their ass on offense.

This shit is custom made for getting shut the fuck down by this defense.

Which is typical Barnes. Nothing new here.
