That WR just frozen like that was crazy AF. I’m assuming it was from his head slamming on the ground.

That's what it looked like to me, he didn't even get hit, just landed awkwardly and his head slapped the ground.

yeah just the back of his head hitting the turf and he out. out out. not woozy or slow to get up. at first glance i thought maybe the chiefs defender caught him with an accidental cleat to the head, but no he jumped clear. good to see his arms moving. godspeed, my man.

What was with his arms twitching when being carted off? Looked concerning. Don’t remember seeing that before.

i thought he was flexing to show that he could still move his arms, but i don't know. scared the hell out of me when he hit the ground and was straight out with his arms fully extended.

Not a doctor, but if the doctors aren't screening for an epidural hematoma they're not doing their job.

I imagine he'll get a full workup immediately. I hope, at least. He is fucked up.

Imagine being a Chargers fan, you get a big opening kick return, get down to the 5 yard line, kill one of your WRs and don't even get any points out of it. Then the Chiefs immediately go 95 for a score. What a deflater.

Yeah he looked way fucked up as soon as he rolled over.

i had a moment there where the thought "please don't be dead" crossed my mind.

thought the broadcast crew staying on his prone body was a bit irresponsible as well

Yeah. That replay of the carting off in SLOW MOTION was garbage broadcasting.

It’s called Fencing Response, and is a symptom of a serious concussion. You see it in boxing and a notorious example was when Cal RB Jahvid Best landed really hard after flying for a TD vs. Oregon State in 2009. In Parham’s case, I’ve never seen a response last that long after the traumatic event.

Is Mahomes injured? He looks off on quite a few throws this year.

No. He's just visibly upset he couldn't sucker Ewers into going to Tech.

absolutely. and then joe buck not speculating but totally speculating that it was because of cold temperature in FUCKING LA. they need to suspend a producer and possibly fire them.

Except it’s not.

Football has too small a sample size and way too many variables for analytics to be particularly useful. Look at how miserably that never punt/always onside kick it coach failed in college this year. It’s not baseball.

Did the Charger kicker catch the covid?  Or did Mike McCarthy eat their coach and take over the team?

they have very smart PHD level statisticians that calculate tens of thousand scenarios.

This is becoming more and more the norm. Teams are not afraid to go for it on 4th down at any part of the field. I love it. Punting is for losers.
