This is a neutral site game in Paradice Valley NV.  Texas currently favored by 10.5.

Walton audibly sad about that Stanford turnover.

Then, "Push the ball, Stanford, come on!"

Such a fucking beating all the time, but with a California team involved, good lord.

First full game I am watching this year. What should I expect?

Selective but slow on offense. Although they are taking shots early in the shot clock so far

This is the 5th Texas game I’ve watched. They need major work on offense - and that isn’t Beard’s strength. They aren’t physical enough in the paint on either side of the ball to not get outrebounded and can’t create ball movement with consistency.

It’s early in a new system so it’ll get better, but blah right now.

Carr looks like he’s afraid to try to score.

Same with AJ. And Ramey would score more but he's undersized and unathletic. Our guard play is shit-tay.

Had to bail, Walton makes my ears bleed.

Lol.  I never had much of an opinion of him until the game he did about 5 years ago in China.  He, literally, sounded like a government-sponsored, travel agent.

This is a frustrating team to watch sometimes. They still haven't figured out who they are or how to play together. If they don't figure it out soon, they'll be lucky to go .500 in conference play.

Stanford might need a miracle to go .500 in conference. The LA schools are going to wipe their asses with this team.

Glad that we seem to be handling them finally. Gotta keep it up.

Agree.  That fine line between being totally badass and totally mediocre.  I'm just hoping it's a product of so many new faces w/ guys who are used to being "the guy".  I feel like they're one TJ Ford away from being a legit title contender.  Granted, there aren't a lot of TJ Fords running around, but guard play could be better.

Augustin would be a revelation for this team. Even someone like Abrams or J'Covan would be a huge lift.

All this stoner talk has me wondering when we’ll see a marijuana company jump into the NIL game. Surely CU Boulder or Wazzu could find a way to attract a certain type of recruit.

Help defense has to be better. Want to play aggressive on the outside but that opens up back cuts. Help defender too worried about skip pass
