If that was the Winterland show Mike Campbell mentioned in the book, Tom lost his voice before the show and tried to cancel at the 11th hour. Bill Graham basically told him get out on that stage motherfucker or else, and Tom found he was mistaken and his voice was somewhat serviceable.

Come on, man. He's Mike Campbell. His hair IS a big part of his persona. He's not trying to be Jon Bon Jovi.

He needs to work on his persona, then...and by that, I mean stop looking like a homeless person.

yeah...there's a pretty big gap between Jon Bon Jovi, and skid row hobo. He looks a lot closer to the latter than the former.
