I had the Starter pullover jacket and the Apex jacket.  Still have both of them actually at mom & dad’s house in my old room.

I had a Starter Michigan jacket and the Cowboys Apex one. Still have the Apex Johnston jersey that he signed across the back for me. Maybe I'll wear it Sunday.

Cross posting but Jerry in-charge has been miserable for Cowboy fans. Jimmy and Jimmy's machine took us through 1995.

I had read somewhere that Clark had reached out to Walls some years after this play concerned of his welfare and that they developed a friendship up till Clark's death. It was a real nice, touching story.

You think that’s bad? Remember the Sharktooth/wave hats?

Got the double star coaches shirt as a Christmas present once, was a heavy duty shirts with the stars on the shoulders.  Not all that comfortable of a shirt either, rarely wore because of that and the fact it was ugly as hell.

Goddamnit put this mother fucker in a home already. He’s literally calling out himself as gm for not fucking getting someone else to kick.

Easy upset pick for media... might as well get used to it.  No confidence in Mike McCarthy as a playoff coach vs Shanahan...

holy shit, just had a flashback to bartending in Dallas in the 90's. Worked with a really cool guy who, for some terrible, awful, inexplicable reason, insisted on wearing Cowboys Taz gear.

Also our decline coincides with the salary cap and Jerry’s refusal to hire a real GM that could handle scouting/responsible $ contracts. He and his kid have been learning on the job for 20+ years

I was born in 84 so obviously did not see this live. For so long, I was under the impression this was the very last play. Until I found out Dallas was actually driving the ball very good after that to win the game until something happened.

Danny was a great qb, though. That version of the Cowboys didn't get nearly as much help from the defense as the Staubach days. Danny was sort of an early version of Romo, and it's a shame for both of them.

At least Danny went to 3 straight NFC Championships.  Romo could only dream of that kind of success.

While true. It was always a huge disappointment. Each one worst than the last.

I never hated white. Still don’t. But the results are what they are.

CSB...I've played basketball a couple of times at Staubach's house.  My family were also members at Canyon Creek.  I've played that course a bunch of times.

I can't stop staring at this.  It's absolutely rage-inducing.

I'd like to send this to Jerruh with about 40,000 middle fingers.

I fully expect Shanahan to out-coach McCarthy in this game

Hopefully the defense will make that a non-issue. If McCarthy is mismanaging clock but the team is up 20, it won’t matter much.

I saw a stat today where the cowboys were 5-2 vs 49ers in the playoffs.

Man I guess those 2 losses stung because I thought it was even. When I saw that stat I knew the two games. Clark and rubber neck.

Not a Cowboys fan, but I do feel sorry for y'all. The first few years with Chan Gailey and Dave Ocampo it was pretty funny, but now it has gotten ridiculous. All Jerruh cares about is money. He doesn't give a fuck about winning.

These hats were cool AF. Had the template for both the Cowboys and Arizona (high school team is the Cardinals).

He cares about being in charge much more than he cares about money. He’d rather lose than win without being perceived as the jefe and big brain.

$50-55 to park, $12 beers, $100 for standing room only tickets. Money hungry

Sure, he likes money but its not like charging less for beer and tickets would mean better football.  The dude is pretty free spending when it comes to the team.

I have that one as well.  Also have the t-shirt with the DMN front page from SB XXVII.   All of it in a box at the parents' house.

You can park for free and ride a shuttle a lot of places. You dont have to drink $12 beers. And those 30k SRO tix are available each week for $30 and are one of the best bargains in sports, and the stadium was built to accommodate them. $100 for a playoff ticket is cheap date. He lost a billion dollars with Covid crowd restrictions.

All sports venues are expensive. There are no Gandhis among team owners.
