Anyone know if there's ever been a first round without a QB taken? I honestly don't know and I'm too many bourbons in to find out for myself.

nvm

Looked it up earlier...happened in 1996

Seems like the steelers have three qbs that are about the same guy. LOL

This. They should have picked the small school dude to break the mold.

Wasn't Kenyon Green the same class as Tyler Johnson? I remember being happy getting 1 of 2 blue chip OL in the state.

Hollywood Brown and AJ Brown were traded for 1st round picks.  Amari Cooper was traded for a 5th round pick.
That was the anti-Herschel Walker trade.

I’m expecting Cleveland to trade Amari Cooper tonight for a 1st round pick. Maybe to Dallas.

I think it's a part of the "NFL is ghey" promotion that they just ran a commercial about.

Do you think spelling it “ghey”’will avoid making you look like a homophobe? If so, you’re wrong.

Please explain, not watching

Some portly German fella with some hullahoops somewhere in Vegas and not near the Draft. Looked like about 5 people were watching him.

NY Jets and Giants both had a great first round.

Damn Texans let Jets and Jags trade up from early second to take Johnson and Lloyd. Hopefully there’s some good shot still there at 37.

Jets crushed this draft

And it’s hard to imagine that they’ll do anything but squander it. I’m wishing the best for Garrett Wilson but I think Chris Olave is in a better position for success in New Orleans.

I think they won the trade.,. I'm not convinced there is a WR in this draft that I'd want like that... But I suppose it was cheap.

Okay.  But even then, you want the pick values to be relatively equal.  I don't think they were from Minnesota's standpoint.

Northern Iowa and Chattanooga have 1st round players, and we might only get Dicker drafted at all if we're lucky. God dammit.

Pretty sure all of the B12 was shutout from this year's 1st Rd of the Draft.

Yeah, I was confused when they showed the deal.  Detroit moved up 20 spots in the first round in exchange for moving down 14 spots in the 2nd round, and sending a third round pick.  It seems like usually it takes a lot more than that to move up so much in the 1st.

Jimmy Johnson’s draft chart laughs at Minnesota again…

I don't think it would benefit 31 teams.... he is going to go in the top 15, so teams 16+ wouldn't be impacted at all by Willis going 2 or 15.

I don't think you understand how shitty the Lions are. They just had their franchise QB for the past decade leave and immediately win the super bowl. The have to take some risks. I would rather it be on a QB at number 2 than a fucking shitty CB like they did 2 years ago with Okudah, or taking tight ends in the top 10 of the draft three times in a decade.

Well I missed here. All the willis Hype in detroit was a little overblown.
