Maybe that was the series we needed to turn our season around. Can't wait to see that delayed broadcast later tonight on LHN

That series sweep won't get us any closer to hosting a regional (since LSU isn't a top 16 team), but it should keep us from being in danger of missing the tourney all together.

This is a bad take. They haven’t even started conference play yet and you think they are in danger of missing the tournament? We may never know what was truly going on with this team at the start of the year, but they seem to have figured it out. They will make the tournament and they will host a regional.

20th in RPI before a 3 game sweep of 17 LSU.  A lot of season left to earn that top 16

Does that include the doubleheader sweep of Louisiana on Wednesday or will they get more of a bump for those wins?

Just out of curiosity.  What’s the story on Lauren Burke?  Goes from being a starter to not even getting a pinch hit appearance.  She seems to be engaged with what's going on with the team and shows excitement when a teammate does well.  Wondering if she might have an injury.  Would like to hear what might be happening if someone has more insight to the daily goings on of our softball team.

Easier to take selfies and promote her brand from a stable environment like the dugout.

21-9-1 Texas up to #12 in the RPI today.  Two more games this week (#260 Lamar and #63 Texas State) until we start conference play in Lawrence against #101 Kansas.  After that, just a couple mid-weeks left: #56 Louisiana, #130 UTA, #72 Houston

We have played: #2 twice, #5, #6, #11, #14, #15, #18, #21 three times and #27 just in the top 30 already. Also #36, #46, #55 twice and #56 twice.

We still play: #3 three times, #8 three times, #52 three times, #58 three times, #70 three times

D1 Softball has us at #16,  USA Today Coaches #24.   Coaches must have missed the LSU sweep as LSU #22.

I suppose stigma of 6 game losing streak and bad losses to FGCU and Notre Dame (not top 25).

Parker was co-player of the week. (Elish was co-Pitcher)

Quote

Parker powered the Longhorns to five victories over ranked teams during the week (No. 23 Louisiana, No. 20 LSU), hitting .500 with eight RBIs and a 1.458 OPS. The Conroe, Texas native hit safely in all five games while registering three multi-RBI efforts to earn her first Big 12 weekly honor. Her biggest hit of the weekend came in the series finale against the Tigers as Parker drove a 3-2, two-out pitch off the wall in left for the walk-off, two-RBI double to help Texas complete its rally back from a 10-4 sixth-inning deficit to an 11-10 victory.
