Anyway, they sorta keep track of each other. When the woodsie grapevine finally figured out no one had heard from Mark, that’s when the wellness check was called in

two years is a long time to make it through the grapevine. dead and decomposing in his cabin for over a year means the "sorta" in your "sorta keep track of each other" is doing a lot of the lifting.

that's fucking wild man, no pun intended.

not sure how you haven't turned hunting and ridding the world of meth head squatters into a past time. you know where the bear tracks are, buddy.

Mark was unique to put it mildly.  Crazy substance abuse problems.  He stayed out there alone to keep away from the temptation is what my theory always was.  It wasn't out of the ordinary for him to go black for a year at a time.  Dude was always nice to me and my wife the few times we ran into him on the trails.  Quick to introduce himself and shake your hand.

To quote Vincent Vega, "It would of been worth them doing it just so I could of caught them doing it."

I've been in -22 in Colorado. Windshield of -41. Don't have to go to Alaska for it.

Where area of CO? Been considering the Co Springs area, but I think it’s probably more “idea” than action.

Significantly less humidity is quite intriguing, but super super cold on the reg isn’t. 😂

I saw -14 and wind of about 1000 mph on top of Vail Pass back in 1985. I was oh so happy to get down to Denver.
