An iconic Longhorns photo, and one that illustrates the vast change in fan attire. If I recall correctly, that catch was in the Texas end zone, yet there’s hardly a shad or burnt orange or anything with “Texas” on it.

Mack made it a point to get burnt orange in the stands when he first got here.

Truth. I was a student there from '84 to '88 and I was, and still am, a diehard fan but wearing your school colors at the game was simply not a priority. You pretty much wore what was clean or the "cleanest" of clothes.

However, I do wear with pride my school colors on game day now.

He deserves his pic on here even if he's been acting like a douchenozzle recently.

"The important thing right now is for Randy Kinder to find a place to sit down." (I know this pic is NOT Westbrook hitting Kinder on the option pitch but it WAS the same game.)

I think David Thomas was the MVP of the 2005 Rose Bowl. Seems like every time he touched the ball it was a first down. One of my top five Altima favorite longhorns.

I mean...he was awesome in that game, absolutely. But you don't really think he was the most valuable player of the game, do you?

Yet a pic from the 2006 Rose Bowl.  Yes, he was valuable in both games, but c'mon man - MVP?!

For the life of me I cannot remember what that sticker above the longhorn logo was for.

I vaguely remember that. May have something to do with the Cotton Bowl.
