First job out of HS was mixing spice blends for various companies. Bar-S was one of them. Haven’t ate a Bar-S product since, and that was 25 years ago.

Probably a good call.  I had a roommate that would eat the hot dogs 7-8 at a time.  No idea how his kidneys did not spontaneously explode.

They make a pretty good bait for channel catfish so the got that going for them.

We bought some Bar S hot dogs when the coronavirus first hit because they were the only brand still on the shelves. They smell like piss and taste awful.

Never had a frankfurter until college.

Growing up, we always used these. Basically a skinny hot link. Called them market wieners back in the day but the online source I get them from calls them pencil links.

I bought some to use as cheap bait for catfish. You can't get that shit to stay on a hook; it's like trying to run a hook through a glob of mud.
