If it was your tape, you knew.

Gotta put a piece of masking tape and write “Texas vs Baylor 1994” so no one else watches the video.

I use “Nice Blinker” at roughly 75% of the intersections that I’m involved in. People are saving “blinker juice!”

Hook’em!!!

I told my wife ~20 years ago prior to getting an oil change, which I usually do, to make sure that they checked the “blinker juice,” which she said OK I will? I’m sure the guys had a laugh and told her that it was topped off. Boerne, TX at its finest!

Never forget having some breakfast in that little cafe downtown, and at the next table there were four or five farmers (judging by clothes) complaining about the recent change of every fucking coffee manufacturer except French Market to puff up their grounds and have only 12 ounces of coffee in the same ol' can that used to be 16 ounces... they called it the "jew pound".

Ain’t gonna lie, nothing irritates me more than going to someone’s house to watch a game and the TV is mounted way up above a fireplace hearth…

Especially when it’s some new build and the hearth is already like 6’ tall so the TV is nearly 10’ up a wall.

Give me this silliness over that.

I served in the Army in the late ‘80s. The OD green “plastic” canteen had the quote, “Do not place over open flames” branded on it, or something like that, as I was always like no shit!

Need a STEM nerd to explain this to me.

You know it bro, your mind just didn't go there off the bat. It's the acronym for the order of operations in math. 🤘

  • P: Parentheses
  • E: Exponents
  • M: Multiplication
  • D: Division
  • A: Addition
  • S: Subtraction

I’ve seen this work before but only because it was mounted on a forward tilt, facing at a downward angle.  it wasn’t too bad.  the high tv flat against the wall chaps my ass too.

Thanks. I truly have never heard that before. In my defense, I went to one of the worst high schools in the US, have a poli sci/history BA, and a JD. I have successfully avoided the maths my entire life, much to my late father’s chagrin.

Just know it’s on-sight if the BODMAS click shows up.

I also didn’t know what that means, although Chat GPT explained it to me:

BODMAS is an acronym that represents the order of operations used in mathematical calculations. It stands for:

• Brackets – Solve expressions inside brackets first.

• Orders – Solve exponents (powers and roots).

• Division and Multiplication – Work from left to right.

• Addition and Subtraction – Work from left to right.

This rule ensures that mathematical expressions are solved correctly and consistently. It is also known as PEMDAS in some regions (Parentheses, Exponents, Multiplication, Division, Addition, Subtraction).

Now do FOIL

Ok. I did, and chat gpt explained it, and I blithely skimmed it, did not comprehend it, and promptly forgot it. And I’m none the worse for wear. I’m glad there are STEM nerds who keep the machines running so I can happily live in my STEM ignorance.
