Deserves his own thread as one of the OG grunge pioneers.

He was responsible for two of the best singles to come out of Seattle. They never reached the level of success they probably could have.

Talking with an old friend from high school last night about this. We were in high school from 1991-1995, so obviously that whole scene was big for us. He remarked that of the Singles soundtrack, 4 of the 7 Seattle scene singers are dead. Crazy.

Man, sucks.  Loved Screaming Trees and as mentioned above really enjoyed his solo album "Bubblegum."
