some kind of meat with caramelized onions on top, broccoli and yes, what appears to also be cream of broccoli soup...used as gravy?? more bizarre than gross imo...might not actually taste that bad, i like all of those^ things.

MMMM.  Medium Raw with a nice microwave sear/coating on the outside!

microwave would cook inside out, that's got to have been put wet into a not very hot pan for 30 seconds a side.

The southeast corner of this looks like ramen noodles and some kind of hot link, and boys, that has my attention.

I do that with Earl's Red Hot Links!

The caption was “Steak, veggies, and mashed potatoes. Best meal I’ve had in a while”

I take it the steak was hiding because it was embarrassed to be seen with those sides.

Are the orange things Cheetos and the bag is being used as a plate?

Yes.  The Raman was cooked in the Cheetos bag.  Cheetos removed. Ramen added with hot water to soften the noodles. Then ramen acts like bread or crust and you put your toppings on it.  That dude has definitely been to prison.

backpacking on the cheap we'd do something similar.  made bags out of aluminum foil and stuffed them into insulated mailers so as not to let the heat out.  summer sausage or canned meat, canned veg, minute rice or ramen, pour water in, let sit a few minutes.
