Man, I got completely confused a few weeks ago when I put on The Ice Road [Liam drives a truck over ice to make money for his special needs brother] thinking I was watching Cold Pursuit [Liam kills everyone with a snow plow].

what an interesting career.

he gets to be an action star, but that didn't start until his 50's.  taken came out when he was 56.

dude turns 70 in a few months.

So you're telling me there's a chance!

First I heard of him is when my brother said he really loved him in Darkman. That was 1990.

So you're saying that there's a chance for somebody known for Pride and Prejudice and Bridget Jones' Diary?

They need to do a prequel about Liam's time as a youngster who was always told he couldn't sit down in a particular seat on the bus.

i feel like he really hit this particular stride when his wife died.

my favorite role was Rob Roy by far. that's also a fantastic and often overlooked movie. Tim Roth turned in an Oscar-worthy performance (though i can't begrudge Spacey's win).

Rob Roy was definitely fantastic.

His role as redneck at large “Briar Gates” in Next of Kin always entertained me.

I can suspend belief long enough to enjoy pretty much any movie. But, damn, Liam as a southern boy, well that really tested my imagination.
