Touch fouls called against UNC....Baylor blatantly bumping UNC's ballhandlers on the trap and nothing called

That's what happens when one of your players gets ejected for a dirty foul.

I said it when the brackets were revealed and I will say it again. How in the fuck was North Carolina an 8 seed?

#32 in NET, and 3-8 against Quad 1.  Not complicated.

First UNC guy ejected deserved it for high elbow -- that was the right call

It was two plays off where Sochan bodied him inside with a no call.  That didn't come out of nowhere. It's always the retaliation that draws the call.

UNC is just playing stupid basketball.

It'd be real damn hard to keep it all in at this point for UNC.  One team is allowed reign to be physical and the other isn't.

this is true.  but they are out of sorts because of all the ref fuckery.

see the foul just called.  that same foul is not called on Baylor.

Baylor is playing desperate. They are reaching and fouling all over the place and it isn't getting checked by refs. They are smart to continue to ratchet it up until somebody checks it.

I called it as soon as the bow and Baylor got it under 18.  Refs saw a chance to make a game of it and changed completely how they were calling the game to let Baylor foul on pressure D.

I'm so glad I'm not a UNC fan, because I'd be out of my mind with how one-sided these calls are.  When was the last call on BU?  The Chia Pet double foul?  Refs will only start calling fouls on BU once BU needs them to be called.

The refs act like it's UNC getting out of hand and needs to be reigned in.  So they call UNC and steadily allow BU to play physical.  It's a huge advantage.

they just need to call it both ways.  Baylor is getting touch fouls called on UNC (that step through and 1 a few minutes ago was a very soft call), while Baylor is allowed to play aggressive, pressing defense - bumping guys and pushing them off their spots - with no call.  UNC is melting down, but it is hard to stay focused when the teams are playing with different rules.

baylor missing their 3's now... UNC  just needs to stop turning ball over and it's gonna be a Tar Heel win.

Interesting to watch UNC struggle against pressure...

Why does anyone watch CBB? The officiating is such horse shit. The NCAA just doesn’t care. It’s infuriating as a fan

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again:

CBB officiating (mens and womens) could be easily fixed if it was centralized under one umbrella, similar to the NBA.  The problem is the NCAA will never, ever do that.

Baylor had 10 fouls in like 8 minutes into the 2H. It's not the refs fault that UNC lost their shit. Manic doesn't go dirty and it's likely a 30 point lead right now.
