Overall really enjoyed Chile and I do plan to go back because I have 20 mil pesos to spend.   Next time Ill spend more time in nature.  My travel buddy is a big skier so he plans to go back with his son.

Late to the game but thinking of retiring in Chile, so found this thread.

I used to live in Peru, so I'm on their side in this debate...I mean, Peru literally has a town named Pisco where they make...wait for it, Pisco.

It's like arguing where Champagne is from.

Now that that is settled, what are some cool "off the beaten path" towns/cities in Chile?
