It happened this weekend and a big reason Oregon State crushed LSU. People are really undervaluing the importance of having fresh arms. LSU was busy chasing an SEC tournament title and they burned way too many arms.

The 20-21 year old argument is nonsense in today's baseball world with how many innings most of these players are throwing in travel ball. People should go see the failure rate of pitchers in the MLB draft, it's much higher than hitters. I guarantee it has a lot to do with this very fact. That 18-22 year old arms are being overextended.

It does not affect them after 4-5 days rest. It just doesn’t. LSU sucks or their rotation is improperly managed or both. Your argument sucks and you should feel bad.

quite the rebuttal there, but it is Rex Kramer.

Lulz, so the burden of proof is on me when faced with a shit argument that nobody agrees with. Ok pal.

I don't care whether you agree or don't agree. "LSU sucks" as your response to the above example is pretty much what I expect from Rex Kramer.

Alex Dunn the 2015 national pitching coach of the year really sucks man. He's terrible.

There is a lot of stupid in this thread regarding pitchers.  It doesn't matter the age, overextending a pitcher and then having him throw again in the next 5-6 days absolutely effects the pitcher.  It's just a matter of how much it effects him.  Yes the pitchers in these games will be able to come back and pitch next weekend, that doesn't mean they are perfectly fine.  The effects may be pretty minor such as a drop in velocity by a couple mph or a slightly flatter breaking ball but those can easily be the difference between a good outing and getting your ass kicked.  Not to mention that the attitude that these kids can bounce back so quickly and easily is the exact reason why high school and college kids are having TJ surgery at record rates these days.

Also TennTech played an absolute dogshit schedule this year.  Their toughest weekend series was against Troy whose RPI was 43, Troy won 2 of 3.  TTech also played WVU twice, winning both and took a midweek game from Vanderbilt.  Other than that the rest of their schedule can barely fog a mirror.  We absolutely want them coming to Austin as opposed to us heading to Ole Miss.

I'm pretty sure Ole Miss pulled a kid out of the stands and is pitching him.

Dude's actually pretty good. One of their mid-week starters, judging solely from their stats sheet.

Duke is ass.

I will eat the chair I'm sitting in if Duke beats Georgia twice today.

You going to put anything on that chair to help it go down easier?
