BTW, main part of "work" today was giving a lunch-and-learn presentation for a bunch of HNW wealth advisors at Charles Schwab HQ in Westlake. I didn't realize this is Schwab's corporate HQ now. To get in, I had to give my DL for them to scan and sign in for a badge. I've got Slow Horses so much on the brain that I felt like River Cartwright trying to get a visitor's pass at The Park. lol

I'm Jackson Lamb next door. I definitely have a Slough House crew.

As mentioned above, I think, I'm reading the books to avoid running out of show prematurely.  They're surprisingly literary.

One thing that's odd about them, though, is that they signal scene changes by bold type (no chapter/subchapter numerals or anything else).  I'm reading them in e-book form and that bold type for a couple of words can be easy to miss, leading to some wtf moments.  And, like LeCarre, sometimes the density and the British dialect can leave you a bit confused.
