Look- I get it on frustration with Bregman. We thought he would be an mvp type and he’s settled in to merely being a “very very good player”. That said, dudes been 33% better than league average and has 1.3 WAR already. That’s on pace for like a 5 war season. 4 WAR is considered all star. 8 or so WAR is considered MVP caliber.

He's about to be paid like a super star. He needs to produce at that level. A lot of the Correa/Springer calculus was based on Bregman being the 2018/9 version.

He’s really not though. 22-25 million isn’t super star money on the FA market it’s quality player money. Bregman won’t be overpaid if he keeps putting up 3-5 Win seasons.

Framber is better than some here give him credit for imo. He’s not a Cy Young type but he’s a solid #2. If he’s third in your rotation in the playoffs he’s probably better than most of the guys he’s facing that day.

He's getting $30.5M over the next 2 seasons, that is superstar money.

and another typical Bregman AB, can't even move the runner up 90'.

3 awful baserunning mistakes. This team is mentally tired. Going to need the bullpen to close this one out, we are likely done scoring.

Framber's at a big disadvantage, though. He never gets to face Bregman.

Bergman’s stance at the plate just looks different to me. Maybe the injuries last year made him alter his stance to compensate. I’m sure theyve looked at all that but something is still wrong with him. He needs to go watch old Bregman cause this current guy ain’t that guy.
