for what it's worth, it's rare to see anyone turn a 3-6-3 or 3-6-1 like yuli does, especially for a righty.

he's ridiculous at those and digging out ground balls.  i get why he plays.

for what it’s worth, I get why his fellow Cuban plays as well.

it's nice to see our 17th best pitcher do well.

I don’t know if this is hyperbole or not, but I sitting here thinking about it and I’d take the other 13 guys over him, plus Martinez and Bielak. So, I have him at 16 at best. I can’t think of anyone else I’d have over him if I’m being honest.  So, about right.

it was exaggeration, but when i typed it, i knew it would be pretty close.  he was great in the postseason so maybe he turns it on again, who knows.

No fucking way should he be on the post season roster.

This team is ok. My prediction of 98 and winning the division easily with 101 as a stretch goal to end the year over 500 seriously undersold them.
6 games over. We’d never been better than 4 before this year.

be proud !

It took the Astros 61 years to get 5 games over .500 all-time. This seems like a lot, but take this in consideration, the Astros are the only team in the expansion era with a total record over .500. 13 other teams born 1961 and on all have records below .500

Thanks for that stat. I was just thinking that finally getting over .500 as a modern expansion team ain’t as bad as it seems.

I’m probably in the minority but I’m team Rome. At least as far as injuries.

I thought it was snarky and funny.

I’m imaging major league psychiatrist scene for that a’s pitcher

“Why’d you throw him a first pitch fastball in his 3rd at bat?“

Martinez: “because he hit the change up 434’”

“Better than 464’!”
