Per the post game show last night, Astros decision and the Yankees agree’d

Oh well obviously that’s different. As long as the Astros made that decision it’s all good.

#csb - pena is tied with biggio, postseason homeruns

He also has 2x the home runs that Mike Trout does.  He also has 6 more hits than Trout despite only 6 more plate appearances.

Peña, in 4 playoff games played, having 6 more plate appearances than Trout is a baseball travesty

Holy shit, Yankee fan on XM radio show was asking why steroids are illegal and Tommy John surgery isn’t.

They’re about to break.

Wait 'til they find out Tommy John played half his career for the Yankees...

Do they think TJS is like some Henry Rowengartner shit?  Morons.

Or that Tallion has had TJS 2x

Don’t fall into the Helo trap of equating one fan’s stupid opinion to that of a whole fan base.

Realized last night that I don't fear a single arm out of their bullpen.  I know it's definitely been mentioned, but I feel like that aspect of the matchup is somehow underappreciated.

I thought about that too.  Their bullpen used to be stocked with filthy high paid relievers.  Our bully had been legit, despite Montero getting a bit shaky last night, Press was fucking nails and Nerris rocked his outing.

They do realize DH doesn't stand for Designated Hindrance correct?

Show some life DH

“Mancini (0-for-6) and Aledmys Díaz (1-for-15) have combined to go 1-for-21 in the first four games of the postseason“

….which is still better than Altuve’s 0-22!!!

1-43 from your leadoff and DH = 4-0

Baseball!!!!

If DH is gonna be such a black hole, you could just put Yordan there and get better defense in the outfield.

Maybe at Yankee Stadium where there is more ground to cover, but he has been sneaky good in LF at MMP.  Not sure we actually have a better LF for the limited space at MMP.

This astro talk or Yankee talk?

They’re saying the same thing today with Stanton in LF and Matt “golden sombrero” Carpenter at DH last night

We should make a change at DH.

If it’s Hensley, what say you?

that click/FO is 100% pulling the strings and Dusty is just a puppet at this stage?

i’d be fine with that except that I’m sure that sort of arrangement undoubtedly led to some agreement that Dusty will be back next year

A couple things from the above:

1. If Vasquez can keep Framber in line, it would be shame to have him on the bench tonight.

2. We can't let Stanton beat us tonight. If I was Boone, I'd bat Stanton and Judge back-to-back.

I figured Mancini would get most of the playing time this series just for the simple fact he used to see all these guys a lot playing in the same division

Counterpoint: Their pitchers saw him a lot, too.

I guess the Yankees are staying at the Post Oak Hotel. My coworker saw Savarino and Cortez getting into a car going to MMP I presume. He told Savarino to take it easy on our boys… and Savarino said “should be the other way around.”

I’m going to believe this happened.

Same argument could be made for Vasquez.

He's their hitting equivalent of Nolan Ryan one playoff appearance for the franchise.
