F’ing Apple TV tonight.

It just sucks out the excitement of watching the game.

790 it is.

Stream it like the rest of us do in exile…

Production quality is pretty dang awesome... but man the on-air talent sucks.

TV muted with KBME broadcast on MLB app over Bluetooth FTW

(holy acronym, batman)

I’ve been to one home game this year. You have one guess as to which one.

but seriously, it is amazing how they could look so bad (that was probably their worst game of the year) and then immediately flip the switch and have an 8-2 L10 that included 9 against the two best records in baseball

I don’t get the hate.  It’s free. It’s easy.  If you don’t like the announcers, mute and listen to the radio.

Is there a secret to syncing up the audio?  Radio for me would come via the MLB app.

MLB app audio for me is always ahead of video streaming.

pause the app as soon as you hear a pitch pop in the catcher’s mitt.

unpause the app as soon as you see it pop in the mitt on the tv

Part of me thinks I need to temper my expectations because Lee is striking out 27% of the time in AAA, but Castro is striking out 45% of the time, so . . .

If he can't do better than Castro then his career is in trouble

His k percentage in June was a season low at like 22 or 23% I read. If that translates to 30% he’s playable.
300 babip (pretty standard) would put him hitting 210 or so.

This is the method I use.  It’s surprisingly accurate.

The apple stream is behind the mlb app stream

you don’t have to pause Apple TV

edit: just re-read the post. Yeah if you’re trying to watch delayed/after the fact, that sucks

I was able to do that last year watching the WS on Fox, but have been unable to do it on the Apple TV feed.

Doesn't sound like they want Diaz at catcher.  He could end up at first.

Diaz speaks Spanish, Lee doesn’t is a factor, imo

It appears to be if you value defense and the handling of the pitching staff over hitting ability like the Astros do.  Good defensive catchers who can also hit are rather rare.

How about an OPS over .600

We don't even have a catcher with OPS over .500

29 catchers with at least 100 plate appearances have an OPS .600 or better

I find it hard to believe that a catcher in MLB doesn’t speak passable Spanish.

Tepera is conveniently supposed to be serving his 3 game suspension this weekend.

I loved watching Winker beat the shit out of him....and then when he got away and could have easily went up to Winker to try and fuck him up he walked past him like the little bitch he is

That's a shame. I was hoping he'd take a 105 mph liner off his lip.
