Before you posted I was thinking that we've been pretty good for as long as i can remember.

My first memories are of the '86 team.  Was there as an 8-year-old for Game 6.  F the Mets.

The '90s through 2007 or so were pretty good record-wise with the Biggio/Bagwell teams, obviously other than the 2000 season.

2010-2013 sucked but it's been fun ever since.  I think I saw we've had 21 winning seasons out of our last 30... and in one of those "bad" seasons (2020) we still made it to within one game of the World Series.

That surprised me at first because I thought Brown was going to be long relief. But after looking the schedule it shouldn’t have. We’re at the beginning of a 23 games in 24 days. 6 man rotation makes sense.
