I seem to remember the front office making similar proclamations of "don't worry, everything is fine" with Yordan's hand earlier this summer.

Yeah, excuse me if I don't take anything the front office says at face value when it comes to injuries.

Meh. If he’s hurt and ineffective, we won’t we see him.

what’s the other alternative for them to announce?

”his neck really bothers him when he has to produce more torgue throwing fastballs. Expect to see more offspeed from him in the postseason.”

I'm only now noticing that Javier has only an 8-9 record despite a 3.07 ERA and some of the best stuff in the league. How did that happen? I mean, besides Houston scoring fewer runs than the other team in 9 of his games?

I feel like I saw a stat not too long ago that he’s up there in league leaders for worst run support

6 of his L’s the team has scored 2 or fewer

Major League play there Jeremy.

Yeah- that’s a tough error on him but damn if we aren’t used to that play being made the last 7 years. I can’t believe the defensive metrics when I see them play out comparing our last SS to this one.

So Chas has one of the best slugging % in the league against LHP. But he’s on the bench tonight and usually is against lefties. SMH

It’s truly mind boggling. He’s got an ops of 1.000 against LHP. That’s MVP candidate numbers. Yet, he doesn’t play.

I hope the Astros lose tonight then have a meeting about having your fucking catcher trying to steal third with 2 out and Alvarez at the plate.  Then whoever made that decision will be fucking fired.

If sitting Chas against a LHP so you can play Dubon isn’t a fireable offense then nothing about in game strategy could possibly be.

Are they going to meet with Dusty before the playoffs and tell him to stop this shit?  I don't feel like wasting a year of everyone's primes.

That’s always been my sense, but starting to lose faith the closer we get and the less we start seeing optimal lineups.
