Thinking back...it seemed like Yuli should have at least knocked that throw down too.

Yeah there was no way he was staying on the bag and getting that. Have to go field it and knock it down.

Every fan in that park should be on their feet screaming.

Only during Living on a Prayer right now in between innings....smh

Well we are half way there…to being halfway there…to the World Series!

I could see that either way.  It's earned if you assume he would have gone to 2nd on Stanton's groundout, 3rd on Rizzo's, and scored on Gleyber's IF hit.

But if you assume that if he fielded Stanton's ball clean that he would have had an easy force on Judge at 2nd then Stanton would have been stranded at 3rd.

Well now they changed both to being unearned

Altuve is an absolute beating right now. Terrible at bats. Not even close.

He’s going to have to drop to like 7 if he keeps this up

I’m resigned to Altuve taking an ofer for the playoffs.

it’s not unfathomable for us to pull off a championship with Altuve being a complete black hole and not getting a single hit. what a middle finger to everyone that would be.

You think Altuve and the Astros cheated? Fuck you. We’ll put him at the top of order. He’ll get the most plate appearances possible on the team…and won’t do a damned thing and we’ll still win.
We’re sacrificing our leadoff spot to be an auto out and are still the best team in the sport

That would mean that’d we actually have a manager who manages. Altuve needs to be bumped to the bottom of the order.

Nah man. No way.
Remember how bad Springer was in the ALCS and Game 1 of the WS before going nuclear?

So Yordan is a close second to Altuve since the 6th inning of game 2 of the lds

i don’t recall him getting fooled and flailing at high fastballs way out of the zone like he’s done multiple times recently.

That wind is crazy. Our outfield is shaky as it is, having roof open wasn’t a smart decision if it was ours.

They confirmed before the game that Jim Crane said it was Manfred’s call. The players prefer it closed.
