I don’t know why you’re so happy about this. It means one of two things. Either the Yankees are going to have to drastically overpay to retain him, screwing their payroll for years to come or you’re going to have to become a Giants/Mets/Cubs/ Dodgers fan in the near future.

the Yankees are fuuuucked, that have to re sign him

Thats a fairly nasty gash cut on her forehead.....dont have a status on her gash. She also fractured her eye socket in 2018 when she covered the Braves

On March 30, 2018 while working for Fox Sports South, Wingert suffered a fractured right eye socket when struck by a foul ball during a game between the Atlanta Braves and Philadelphia Phillies.

Is she unlucky or is she maybe aloof and standing in bad places on the field?

No fight but the benches did clear in the Yankees-White Sox game today. Bonafide moron Tim Anderson (who called himself a modern Jackie Robinson a couple years ago) got his little feelings hurt when Josh Donaldson said “what’s up, Jackie?” To him during the game today. Hoping Anderson gets some chin music tomorrow for stirring up drama.

Calling yourself a modern Jackie Robinson is dumb af, but the least surprising part of the entire thing is that shithead Donaldson was involved.

And then the White Sox win the series to go over .500 with a 3 run bomb from Anderson. Delicious.

Good times.

For the most part, it has not gone well for the five players -- Corey Seager, Marcus Semien, Javier Baez, Trevor Story and Carlos Correa -- although Seager has hit better in May and Story just raised his OPS 135 points over the weekend by homering five times in a four-game series against the Mariners. In about a full season's worth of 671 at-bats, the group is hitting a combined .224 with 20 home runs and 83 RBIs. In 2021, prorated over the same number of at-bats, the group averaged .271 with 37 home runs and 107 RBIs.

TB/Balt game delayed with 2 outs in bottom of the 9th. That’s like putting on the 18th green when the horn blows.

Beer girl break on 18 is completely allowed.

...but I hope they call him up soon, too.

New orioles catcher, very young dude only drafted in 2019, supposed to be VERY talented.

Are you being Helobious?

If you’re asking If I’m an Orioles homer no, not even an orioles fan just follow all baseball prospects at different positions

Not even close to what I was asking.

Could be missing some context, but haven't y'all ever had someone "overstate" their impact on something at work? "I'm the Cal Ripken of showing up to work" or "When it comes to effort, just call me Charlie Hustle!"  Then the workgroup starts calling them Cal or Pete because of their bullshit statement in comparison with their impact.   When Anderson anointed himself as the Jackie Robinson of today's baseball,  is it off limits to lampoon his overstatement simply because Robinson was black?  is he immune from ridicule because Anderson himself is black?

Why does it have to be this difficult?  Nobody remotely considers Anderson to be the Jackie Robinson of modern baseball.  It's not wrong to fuck with him about it.
