Yeah, that's even less believable.  Rob Manfred handed an 80-game suspension to one of MLB's most marketed players for 80 games without any sort of a hearing and without notifying the franchise first?

Dazed And Confused GIF

In fairness, Manfred seems like a dipshit.

I swear I read somewhere that  Preller heard it from Tatis reps but my point about not knowing before the TD stands. Here’s what he told reporters

Quote

Preller confirmed to reporters (including Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribune and Dennis Lin of the Athletic) that the organization learned about the suspension this afternoon, around two hours before it was made public.

Yeah, I read that too.  I don't believe it for the reasons mentioned.

Man, the Dodgers are just crushing teams. As an Astros fan, I’m glad they’re in the NL.

You probably could have posted this in the Astros thread.

So that’s about a $2.5M hit to Tatis, Jr.   Hope it was worth it, dumbass.

at least it doesn't disqualify him from getting in the HOF.

I was at Astros-A’s tonight. The A’s should probably just fold as a franchise. They hopelessly suck.

$9 for dippin dots is fucking sodomy by the way. And I still bought some because I’m a moron.

2:15 for NYY/Bos, that ain’t normal.

The Yankees legitimately do not try on Sunday getaway games. They just want to gtfo as fast as possible. I’ve never seen anything like it. On top of that, they suck.

I don’t have a favorite NFL team, nor do I play fantasy. It’s actually pretty fucking nice to just turn on the tv on Sunday and watch whoever’s playing with no attachments.

very curious to see if drew and melton develop into something. saw a highlight of Justin Dirden, damn he has very good stats.

Could someone take the booze away from putt and point him in the right direction again?

What did I ever do to deserve having to watch Gallo, Hicks, Donaldson, Torres, and IKF all play for my favorite team. What was it. I can’t take this anymore.

I think you know that answer…

welp no more tight pants in LA this year

Yeah, huge bummer but the reality is he hasn’t pitched in a couple months, and hasn’t pitched well even when he was going.   Dustin May coming back this weekend.  Urias likely to be our #1, and the a mix of Kershaw, Gonsolin, Anderson, and May will need to get it done in the postseason.  Some young arms coming up will give them rest in September.  Buehler was just going to hopefully be a bonus.

Urias looked good tonight.
