Need to put myself down for a 4k rewatch in march

I know it’s blasphemous but I didn’t really enjoy Andor the first time. Liked it much much better the 2nd time. And then R1 was on TV last night so naturally had to watch it

We’re gonna do a rewatch of Severance and Andor pretty soon. Let’s just say Andor will take on a whole different meaning in light of recent events.

The good thing about this show is this is the closest Star Wars and Disney+ will have to prestige TV so they'll go all out for it. The sets, the costumes, the SFX, the acting, and most importantly the screenwriting.

Never read the comments of a tweet. It will always be someone bitching about the CGI, a song, the trailer showing too much, the trailer showing too little, the way the show or movie is lit, the way the colors look, and casting choices.

And the racism. Don’t forget the racism.

I’ve watched Season 1 about 4 or 5 times now and can’t recall having a single thing to bitch about. For me, Andor is up there with The Sopranos, Ted Lasso, Band of Brothers, and  The Rings of Power.

It’s been long enough that I really can’t remember the story or characters. I remember liking it but this is way too much time between seasons. Or I’m just getting old and forgetful.

I rewatched it in September and it hit so much diff in a binge

My oldest never watched when it was out and now is showing interest so we can do a rewatch pretty soon before the new season starts. I think it will be a much easier viewing for her if it's binged versus the slow release when it originally came out. 3 episodes a week is nice.

Especially if there’s going to be time jumps, 3 episode arcs means you get 3 time jumps that make sense bc each arc is semi contained to itself but part of the larger story

Plus that’s 3-ish hours of Andor a week
