Yeah, maybe stick to the inversion table. The Rack is designed to separate shoulders first then the elbows, knees, wrists, and ankles are dislocated. Finally, your hips are dislocated. Cartilage and ligaments will snap and muscles will be torn so much that they would be useless if you survived. Spend too much time on a tight setting and your organs start to suffer leading to the loss of bodily functions. Plus, once you're on the Rack, you're at the mercy of your family and loved ones who can then rip your toenails out and put hot coals on your torso. It'd be a great time for your wife to question you about those porn links on your laptop and the odd credit card charges to something called OnlyFans.

Sir, this is a Wendy’s

@immamac any way we can donate here on Surly and have the donation go directly to the family without GFM getting 15% of the donation?   I’m happy to help if so.

Is she the same Mom who needed help a couple of months ago?

Sucks to see that she's in such bad shape that she's had to move out of state just to continue her care.

I thought it said they don’t take a percentage of the donations but the 15% was an optional tip to cover costs.

You are correct, but it appeared to be included in the transaction.  Thanks for the heads up.

Can't she go to MD Anderson? It's the #1 cancer center in the country and it's part of the U of Texas system.

DTD is from Norfolk and I assume that's where his mom lives.   Google says the Kimmel Breast Cancer Program at Johns Hopkins is one of the best in the world.

Deleted. It was joke about the rack. Humor seems wrong after the last few posts. I'm not usually very moved by these kinds of appeals, but reading the last few pages of the thread educated me on this player. His appeal for his mother and pictures are compelling.

I'll donate a trifle and wish it were more.

Best of luck to Tonya. I hope the path goes as well as it can. Fight when you can fight. Rest when you can rest.

Donated as well. Off topic but who was that player who asked for donations from UT fans and then decomitted/transferred shortly after?

Wasn't it Ty Jordan (RIP)?

Awesome. Average donation of 60+ dollars ain't too shabby. Glad that we got it for her.

Honestly this is fucking awesome. Same thing for banks earlier this year. Good luck to the family.

I don't do nor can I translate the twitters.

So, he gone?

Sounds like he’s done with football, period

Yup, retiring. Not sure he had any eligibility left? Probably didn't want to chance making a roster as an UDFA with his mom being sick and all, he likely moves back home and gets a job somewhere.

What a great story. That is a remarkable amount of wisdom and maturity for a lifetime athlete at that age to realize that athletics is over and it’s time to start making a future for himself. I can only imagine how hard it is to give up on the dream and move forward. Hope he sells a lot of real estate.
