Saw that earlier today. Good that he has that experience and can pass it on.

Like @Valmy77 stated up posts, these guys have played at collie station, bumfuck lubbock, and even now down at san marcos where fans/johhny come lately(s) can be nasty.

Nothing shuts up a home crowd better than a 1st inning 3 run Ivan blast.🤘

……didn’t we lose most of those games? Just sayin

edit: guess just lost in Lubbock this year actually

Some real high quality journalismish they have over at BON.

Would love to see their math.  Even if brackets were reseeded, how do you end up with #1 and #2 national seeds on same side?

Imma gonna step up to the plate and say Pete strikes out 10 today.  Oh, and of course Ivan spanks one out.

Only one?

Sure but not because we played badly. Hell we run ruled Tech in one of those games.

We played hard in the other two games but lost for the same reason we got swept at home by OSU. Bullpen struggles.

But we seem to be doing better in that area lately.

True, but if you’re going to do it you should ask first, just like when someone orders iced tea you shouldn’t assume they mean nasty-ass sweet tea…

Not nearly as bad as ordering tea and they bring you a cup with a string hanging out of it. wtf

Not entirely true. We lost one because we couldn’t get a key hit. 4 runs in 10 innings is less than average. All 4 runs came on homers. We had 15 or so guys reach base.

Then one of the bullpen runs was aided by a throwing error.

And really the other game, the starting pitching was the issue. The late bullpen was problematic.

But yes we battled on the road against a good team, and it was all they could do to win.

Did he say "Few teams have played in the jungle and even fewer have left victorious"?  Why have so few people played in the jungle?

So many Rocky Mountain and Yankee teams traveling around in February and March as well. Give them a nice warm (ish) place to play EC!

Those outfield fucks are gonna get some souvenirs off the TEXAS bats. LFG!

LOL was gonna say, they're in the Ivan Melendez and Murphy Stehly and Dylan Campbell splash zone.

Why are the blue checkmarks and commentators freaking out about this? Do fans not show up to Super Regionals usually?

First home super for ECU. They've had lots regional and super regional trips elsewhere. Big deal in bumfuck nowhere.

I’m sorry but this outfield setup is just asking for fan interference.

Yeah WTF? Are you allowed to have your arm in the field of play like that?
