It's so weird because most of the people on the fundamentalist/evangelical/extremist side are married to women that nobody could be addicted to sex with.

I'll have to admit to not giving a fuck about who some fundy is married to, given I don't associate with those people and suggest you guys don't either.

I don't either until their frustration to her fat, lame-in-the-sack ass starts causing him to collect guns & ammo and take it out on the rest of us.

Remember the old saying that we believed in, "What happens between consenting adults in the privacy of their home is their business?"  What if nothing's happening except the sounds of her getting fatter  and him cleaning his weapons cache every night?  Have you not watched a political rally in the last few years?  It's like Golden Corral's virgin birth was a Miracle Whip truck full of hate and bullets.

My experience in a corporate setting is that most people admit it, and then conclude that now that they understand it, they won't allow it to alter their decisions.  The rest of the people don't have any time for it.

That sounds about right. And in a corporate setting ie apple suing Samsung or joe blow restaurant suing joe blow distribution company that’s good enough.

But the cases I handle often involve decisions where race actually may matter. Sometimes that’s the ultimate decision. So it’s a little trickier.

We can stop it in its tracks by holding the Left to a higher standard both in how it honestly deals with issues and how it aggressively attacks the right.

There is nothing remotely contradictory about using aggressive tactics while holding your elected representatives to standards of honesty.  And not making stupid arguments.

The idea that attacking any business that has a disproportionate representation of a certain ethic group is based on race without proof beyond the attack is a bad argument.  Once additional proof is obtained (witness statements affirming a racial animus), it becomes a good argument.

I don't think your first sentence follows at all. I agree we should hold people to a higher standard, but I don't think holding the "left" to a higher standard is going to stop the "right," whatever those terms mean. Sort of like how holding the French to a higher standard wasn't going to stop Germany from steam rolling Europe. We should do it, but for reasons independent of its effect on other parties.

I'd agree with your last paragraph if we were talking about a single incident. But when someone goes around attacking multiple businesses owned and operated by a particular ethnicity in a city where that ethnicity is like 3% of population, you have to consider the possibility that race is a motivating factor. It isn't conclusive evidence, but it is some evidence. Hell, you aren't likely to find additional proof unless you are looking for it, which means having to consider the possibility that race was a factor. But, saying that merely because he attacked those businesses it must have been racial motivated is certainly a bad argument. I don't think anyone is doing that though, so I'm not sure why you're all hot and bothered about it.

You hold the French and the Americans to a higher standard in terms of morals and behavior and ideals while they kill Germans, in order to maximize the chance that French and American morals and behavior and ideals remain attractive to the most people -- including the people who have already bought into those ideals.

Quote

A shirtless man with blood running down his leg was escorted out of the store in handcuffs by two police officers, a live TV feed showed. But it's unclear if he is the suspected gunman.

Television helicopter video showed many law enforcement vehicles and officers outside the store and at least three helicopters on the building's roof.

....

The windows of the store appear to be broken, according to a bystander live video on YouTube.

According to BNO News, there are reports of 'multiple people down'. There are also reports of there being 'multiple shooters inside' the store.

Another video of the incident from YouTube shows two victims lying on the ground in the parking lot of the store.

At least one victim is seen lying on the floor inside the store just moments before more gunshots are heard. Local reports say one victim is a police officer.

doesn't look good.

Let's make sure we all agree ahead of time, whatever the mass murdered says his motives were...we believe him categorically and without challenge.

We have a homicidal maniac problem and an easy access to mass killings devices problem.  There is no quick fix for this.

which one do you think is easier to regulate:

1. weapons

2. people getting angry/being generally unstable

Sure there is. More guns. Arm everyone to the teeth and settle it like real men. Teachers, pastors, bus drivers.....errrybody gets a piece and we settle every argument like a fortnite melee. Why ? because we're Americans goddamnit, and once committed to a position we can never re-evaluate, never adjust. We'll just keep pumping more guns into the country and this shit will solve itself.

And there is a second shooter, sounds like the cops have him pinned down

It’s not a mass shooting unless initial reports claim there’s multiple shooters, only later to find out it’s just 1. It happens every time.

Yep - the yahoos decide it's a great time to parade a weapon when there is a mass shooting. Neighbors get nervous and, as expected, call the police. Like clockwork.

Our political leaders could be working on crafting legislation that provides a way forward for sensible gun regulation, but they have voter suppression laws to pass.

We’ve knowingly cultivated a culture that values guns more than people and until we acknowledge this as a problem, things will continue to get worse.

Problem is, guns can only cause so much carnage at one time.

We’ve seen massacres progress from Lubys to Sandy Hook to Mandalay Bay and barely blinked. I don’t think guns could kill enough people to move us sufficiently. So we’ve got that going for us.

Sadly, I’m inclined to agree. If shooting the faces off of kindergartners won’t move you, nothing will.
