One of the most dominate performances in NCAA sports championships I’ve seen in a while. Aces, kills, blocks, never really gave Louisville a chance. Jfc is right. Wow.

He’s saying the word is “dominant” not “dominate”

Really not sure what Louisville's serving strategy was in this one.

They were attacking Halter and Fleck most of the match and it went as poorly as you would expect. In the 3rd set they finally started attacking Eggleston, Skinner and Akana with some success.

Halter is really incredible.

The national championship was on Thursday.

The only team that was beating Texas this weekend was Texas.  After seeing Wisky and Stanford go down last weekend, I had zero doubt of this result.

No.

Whatever. It was never in doubt. Louisville had one moment of consequential momentum at 24-22 down 0-2 and Texas took it away from them to win.

Yep. Domination just like they did the whole tournament.

Not sure true, but funny either way...

I’m really late on this as I don’t really follow volleyball except very casually but this was absolutely true.  My son is one of the group pictures here.  Alabama won that match and the Alabama team went and celebrated with them.

Well-filled women’s volleyball shorts are a thing of beauty.  Should be a national park with viewing area pull outs like at Yellowstone so one can marvel at the natural splendor.

Loved it. Dominant from start to finish. Our men may shit the bed, but the ladies get shit DONE. Well done, ladies.

What? Our men kick ass, just not in football and men's basketball.

What is the fewest sets lost in a national championship run? Texas only lost 3.

There’s a team who never lost a postseason set during a champ run. I wanna say Washington 2005?

Penn State probably swept their way through a few times.

There is a certain few Louisville volleyball girls that need me to comfort them tonight.

And Logan graduated hs in 3 years, not 3 years early.

Correct.  That broadcaster is also a graduate of the same high school.  I’m sure the excitement got to her a little.

My daughter is a current student at that same school, and happens to be a member of the volleyball team.  Not playing quite up to Logan’s level, however…
