Pretty simple solution. Find ball control specialists that keep you in system.

Surprise, surprise that Texas unstoppable with Fleck and Halter.

And next year we just replace Fleck with Carissa Barnes.

I’m really late on this as I don’t really follow volleyball except very casually but this was absolutely true.  My son is one of the group pictures here.  Alabama won that match and the Alabama team went and celebrated with them.

Congratulations grandpa.

Let's be honest, nothing will ever top VY's run for the Roses as a Texas fan. But always beautiful to win a National Title 🤘

I was at that game.  I was 30.  I realized I would never attend a better sporting event in my life from the terms of confluence of combatants, stage, what was on the line, outcome and personal meaning to me.  That said every single one of these is something to be cherished.  Athletes work their fucking asses off, most of them in anonymity and to see it come together like this...well that's just fucking awesome.

100% this. Though VY and the CWS championship (the whole tourney) might be be about the same, but yeah the dedication and sacrifice and the effort to be the best… wow.

I don’t know man, i hear you but it’s different. I love amateur athletics, the big 2 are awesome but seeing student athletes in sports that are exciting to watch but without a path to riches and still seeing them give it all, cry in victory and defeat is something else.  That’s a lot of hard work and time and schedule demands and seeing that level of excellence from well kids is inspiring.

Yep, this feels so much more "amateur," in the best possible sense.  These girls have professional opportunities and the Olympics and they still stick around.  And graduate.
