If it's a Friday night and a solid commit, you're probably ok.

Good ball skills. I'm it usually a guy who likes seeing WR's use their hands to catch the ball, but his looked effortless

No,nsorry. I should have said I prefer kids who use their hands not their body

Still sounds illegal.

Perhaps you shouldn’t have said that.

What are we talking about here?

Doesn't even pretend to sell the route.  Just kinda weaves once or twice before blowing past the db.

Still want.

I can't be the only one, but I fucking HATE it when you update all these fucking threads at this time of the year. Fucking hell man.

Nope, you're not. Just throw the shit in the 2023 thread for fucks sake.

You know texifornia is cackling when he bumps these threads.

I envision him performing a little ceremony involving Space Ghost and A Tale of Two Cities.  Rockets, guillotines and incantations.

Nope. Recruits, especially recruiting recruits like Cook, deserve their own spotlight. You people should just sack up a bit. Yes, you people.

I agree with Tex. Every so often, people like to look back at recruit threads a few years later. Stuff like this would disappear in the general 2023 thread.

Top performers from Sunday's Under Armour All-America Game practice

By ANDREW IVINS     110 minutes ago

LAKE BUNEA VISTA, Fla. – Preparations for the 2023 Under Armour All-America Game continued on Sunday with a two-hour practice session at ESPN's Wide World of Sports Complex. The team from 247Sports has some top performers and standouts below.

Alpha Dog: WR Johntay Cook II (Texas signee)

Some of the nation’s top route runners are in Orlando this week and while each one of them has impressed, one could make the case that Cook might be the best of the bunch after the first three practices. The future Longhorn was almost unstoppable during Sunday’s 1-on-1 session as he shook defender after defender with his quick feet and elite burst. Cook’s smaller stature might not be for everyone, but he continues to show that he can play much bigger than his height/weight suggests as he uses his natural bounce and superb body control to snag pretty much anything that enters his orbit. Cook, who averaged 5.3 catches and 1.3 touchdowns per game as a senior, figures to emerge as a top target for Arch Manning (or whoever is under center in Austin) over the next few years.
