He had almost 10 years on not winning a major, he's already fucked up. Though I'm not saying he won't win it. Rory is certainly the favorite

I mean he's tied for the 54 hole lead at the British Open and was top 10 at the other three majors. His game is very not fucked up right now.

On one of these huge greens, is it legal to use a wedge? Instead of putting? Or do you have to use a putter if you’re on the green?

Expand

You can use whatever club you want. Additionally if you're on one of those huge shared greens even if you're on the side by the other pin it's technically a green in regulation and you can actually mark it, place your ball and then hit a wedge if you want

There’s a hole at Riviera (pretty sure that’s the course, but not certain) with a bunker in the middle of the green.  You’ll see some guys hit a wedge there if they are badly out of  position. Not really a problem with the pros, but I could see the groundskeeping crew having a problem with members gouging the greens.

I have to say that barring a miracle round from Scottie, I'm pulling for Rory.  I don't usually cheer for Euros, but he has won me over with the way he has carried himself over the years,  He's always been very gracious and respectful.  I've also really liked how he seems to have taken a leadership role with the PGA players during this LVI crap and I think he has a lot of respect in the locker room.
