Maybe my adjectives were off.  It’s amazing that they may go three for three.  I don’t think there is any doubt about that.

It’s just an interesting fact of life in European soccer given the fast rise that a player that was perhaps one of the best in the league a level down can’t see the pitch anymore.  A victim of the success of the team in a lot of ways.

I just think it would be cool to have some Yanks on the team.  I am sure they aren’t going to shoehorn one on that’s not a good fit.

The Fighting Deadpools are up 2-nil in the 70th, and equally as important ... Wycombe are down FOUR-NIL (!!!) to Charlton.

If the table stands as it is now, 2-3-4 will be within 4 points of each other (Wrexham 86, Wycombe 84, Charlton 82), with Wrexham playing Charlton this Saturday!

GD unlikely to help wrexham now, as a points tie means wycombe has one more win and most likely the GD. But they play Stockport fighting for playoff position, and leyton who are tied for 6th so will have the playoff on the line on the final match day.

not sure if it's been talked about here, but Leyton Orient is another great story whose principal investor is from Dallas: Kent Teague.  he went to Duncanville High School and is a massive P1 of the The Ticket. he calls in at least once a year to talk about owning Leyton and their journey up the food chain.  he bought in when they were in the National League, just like Ryan and Rob did with Wrexham.  and he's also gotten them promoted twice and has Leyton on the precipice (if that's even a word) of going up to the Championship.

so yeah, i'd like to see Leyton Orient be the third promoted side this year (if they can first make the playoff).  Kent seems like a really good dude.

Blackpool sneaks one in late, so it's a 2-1 victory... but the GD is EVEN with Wycombe at +28.  Charlton is at +25 going into next weekend's match.

A Welsh guy from my accommodations in Florianopolis, Brazil 🇧🇷 in February of 2009 posted this on Facebook today.

And I will be in Wales this summer for a birthday party 🥳 (which could be a front for a pop up wedding due to the original nuptials being cancelled due to COVID in October of 2020)…

SO THIS HITS CLOSE TO HOME.
