I stumbled on one of her videos a long time ago, and was horrified at the way she made her drinks.  All of her videos are this bad, and I don't think it's intentional. It's pretty fun to laugh at, as she clearly worked at a bar while failing community college and thinks that makes her an expert mixologist. The Onion should hire her to make tutorials for their YouTube channel, I would watch more.

Here's her mint ball bourbon recipe:

Here's her Long Island Iced Tea tutorial. A pint of liquor with a splash of coke really gets me going at the clubs!

I watched this yesterday and then watched one of the related videos on YouTube of a bartender reacting to the video, and also telling the back story. Apparently she was paid $2000 in 2010 by Maholo to make 100 "how-to" drink videos. She worked till 2am the night before and had a 7am call the next morning. She shows up to the shoot and it's just her and a camera man, with a bunch of recipes that were wrong, and a handful of bottles of bottom-rail liquor. And no bar utensils - no muddler, no jigger, no spouts. No shaker. Just two giant glasses, which held different volumes. No bitters in the bottle. One bucket of ice. Etc. She got fucked. So they had to re-strain the ice for every drink. I feel bad for her. Apparently, at the time, she had a masters in secondary education and graduated with honors at UC Irvine for undergrad. She's not a dummy. Also, would bang.

That still doesn't excuse a 12-ounce old fashioned, though.

She got a second chance. Still not how I make it, but I'd definitely drink this one over the other. Also, still would.

$2000 for 100 videos sounds like a shitty deal. The way she talks about the drinks and the advice she gives makes her sound like a moron, or at least someone with zero background in mixing drinks.

Sure. Maybe two grand is chump change for the surly 1%. But for a "bartender" and struggling actress, that's probably rent for two months in 2010. Just sharing what she was up against.

But yeah, I don't know how you can defend that drink.

There are easier ways for a struggling actress to make $2000.

What is Skooma? And where can I get some?

Skooma is a made up drug from The Elder Scrolls universe. I'd like to imagine it's kind of like PCP.
