I knew we (the royal “we”- some badass Seal, really) popped a cap in his eye, but I didn’t pay much attention to the burial at sea. Frankly, if the government would involve me in matters of state, we would have fed him to Mr. Woo’s pigs.

Why you want to poison Woo's swine? A hole in the bottom of the sea is fine with me.

There's a reason they make adaptors for this. If you're going on a long drive where there aren't charging stations, it would be smart to take a generator. If you're staying at someone's house who doesn't have a charger, you'd similarly want a generator on hand.

rolling blackouts in Cali? Or just dumbassery?

Read this AM that they are requesting thermostats 78+, turn off all lights, don't use appliances, and don't charge your electric vehicles

I’ve done a lot of tris (never a full) and a lot of marathons. The cramping is real. I can feel his pain.

Unless you're charging your electric car with a gasoline powered generator.  😆😆😆

This why I think ICE will never go away. There simply aren't enough charging stations, for now anyway.

We took a road trip to Bryce Canyon last year in my gas guzzler. No way we would have driven my wife's car. There weren't many gas stations after leaving Vegas, can't imagine there would have been any supercharging stations.

Ah yes fond memories of my first marriage were I was sent many vigorous warning signs that I verily laughed away. Ah to be young again! Just laugh and laugh!

The thing is that once EV are ubiquitous, there will be more charging stations than gas stations. They don’t need employees like gas stations and can be much smaller footprints. It makes putting them in BFE viable unlike gas stations. Hell, many retailers and supermarkets will just dedicate a few stalls to get some charging income. It’ll be way more convenient than gas. The key is getting solid state batteries than can fully charge in less than 15 minutes on the market.

How will those charging stations in BFE be powered?

Wind and solar? Meaning both, not one or the other. For more remote locations at least.

Others? Are there street lights around? Power somewhere.

Of course the demand on the electric grid goes up as the number of EV’s increase, so that needs to be handled overall.

Im sure they are all over this just like California is staying one step ahead of others.
