So he's done what every politician in Mississippi has done since Mississippi became a state?

No, he hasn’t.

Let’s CR this bitch

Marcus Dupree, a former college football star, also received $370,000 in welfare funds, which prosecutors say partly went to fund his horse ranch

Theres your feel good 30 for 30 update.

Text messages obtained by the website Mississippi Today and authenticated by Pigott show that Favre sought a $3.2 million grant to a drug company in which he was a shareholder and a $5 million award that built a volleyball arena at the University of Southern Mississippi, where his daughter played the sport and where he played football. Favre’s lawyer declined to comment.

Paul LaCoste, who is the current governor’s athletic trainer, was paid $300,000 in welfare funds to run a fitness boot camp for legislators.

According to state figures, Mississippi rejects more than 90% of those who apply for the federal welfare benefit known as Temporary Assistance for Needy Families, or TANF. This year 2,500 children received benefits, state officials said, in a state with 192,000 poor children.

How many times can you unretire from prison?

How can a guy that should be pretty much universally liked be involved in so much bullshit and idiocy? He seems like a monumental douche bag, and now possibly a criminal.

Sports legend fraudulently obtains and/or helps redirect millions of dollars of taxpayer money. Sports fan says it's no big deal because he liked watching that guy throw a ball decades ago. Oh and if you think there's something wrong with the theft of millions of dollars you're being political.

(Note for the dummies that might agree with him: there are not two sides to stealing millions of taxpayer dollars meant for poor people. Nobody is a fan of that - whether it's the taxpayer money or the help for poor people angle - unless you're a dipshit on a message board and you think people are being mean to your hero who has literally never heard of you and would take the money right out of your wallet if he could reach it).

Sounds like you cracked the case, time to turn in your evidence and get this monster off the streets.

I mean there are a lot of people that are fans of that. The same people who did it here belong to a large group that runs parts of the country in an area that includes Mississippi. They love doing that maybe more than anything.

just can't talk about them here.

In his defense, Jimbo is stealing millions in public funds meant for stupid people and no one is talking about criminal charges against him. Still, fuck Brett Favre.

Those stupid people are begging him to take it. Big difference
