Colt was literally the most accurate passer in football history when he played. His 2008 completion percentage was 76.7%. That is fucking nuts. He connected on more than 3/4 of his pass attempts. And his passes were on the numbers in stride, that dude could fucking sling it.

I guess my point is that comparing Quinn Ewers to Colt is as silly as comparing Sam Ehlinger to Vince Young. Colt wasn't just good, he was one of the single best players in college football history. That he didn't win a heisman is a fucking travesty. It's not like Colt was merely good. Colt McCoy was all-time great.

here too. he grew up tonight. i didn't think he had the poise to play like he did tonight.  that was a really gutsy performance by him.

He played like this the first time he played them. Moose out front...

That was a lot of work for very little payoff

He got the monkey off his back tonight.

I think he deserved the criticism, but he stepped his game up and had an All-World performance in the toughest of situations.  If he keeps this up and our receivers start catching everything, he's in the running for the Heisman.

Hopefully this is the spark that lights the fire, a lot of pressure on the young man and given his reserved nature he seems to be very hard on himself.

Tonight performance gives you confidence you can't fake. Little running game tonight, didn't flinch, made good decisions and took care of the ball.

I’ve never been more happy to be wrong. Looked like a first round pick tonight. More of that please. You have the skill players, Sark will scheme them open, and you have god’s gift as a right arm… keep making plays.

Sark called a hell of a game in regards to getting Quinn in a rhythm before taking shots.  The quick game outside, easy throws across the middle, and OL giving the kid time, and damn did he do it.

Fuck of a night.

Boy that play to the left worked all night.
