This injury was much less serious.  He was throwing last week already which means it was far enough along in the healing process that he couldn't aggravate it by throwing.  Now it just has to be healed enough to avoid re-injury when he gets hit.

I'd rather have Maalik than the injured version of Quinn that showed up against OkSt last year.  If he plays, he better be healthy.

I will pass this along to him and make him pinky swear he is fully healthy. Standby for confirmation.

No such thing as decent German food.

I have no idea if this is truth or not, but that plate sure looks like a chicken fried (steak? chicken?) that I can get at any diner or southern restaurant in town.... Where's the German?

Also this post is on topic because Maalik can't run but I think we win this week even if he does play, and if Ewers is healthy then let's go win the fucking Big 12.

That's schnitzel.  It's not the same thing as chicken fried steak.

It's pretty fucking close. In fact I'm not even sure what the difference would be between wiener schnitzel and chicken fried steak. Other than, ya know, "beating the meat" a bit. And who among us is above beating their meat?

Fortunately, he can get into a groove before we head to Iowa State. I know TCU is a mixed bag this year but I don’t think this game is going to be difficult for us. More like playing BYU. Thought they will probably be better on offense. Not as good on defense.

This is a sign...Quinn is not starting. The gods have spoken. Pray the omens are incorrect.

Pork instead of beef, bread crumbs instead of flour, mushroom gravy instead of cream gravy.

Germany once had the world's best wine, cheeses and bread.  It was only for the early 1940s, and really just far western part of Germany, but still.

And the best musicians, scientists, and architects.

Doctors please chime in on this. What are the reinjury risks here? Can his recovery really be complete?

0% chance the Ewers family was okay with him starting if he wasn’t truly recovered

This is a guy who refuses to slide. Not sure they have a whole lot of say in it.

Ewers worth 1.5 points according to Vegas.

Maybe more than that. The old line probably factored in a chance he'd play. If he had been ruled out for sure it may have been lower.

I’m a male nurse, pretty much a doctor

False....

A 75% Quinn is superior to a 100% Maalik from a decision making standpoint and not turning the ball over standpoint.

Correct. This is huge news.

Where are all the doctor of neighborhood types? We have too many lawyers that think they know too much about the law and all the lawyering stuff.

it was a 2-4 week type of deal. He went from week to week to day to day. We want him out there this weekend to knock off any rust. Get into a groove. And for God’s sake, Ewers, fucking slide or throw the ball out of bounds.

Him knocking the rust off versus TCU and not ISU makes me happy

damn, SP+ must LOVE ISU's defense - FEI has them at #26 but im too lazy to go to espn and see on ISU.

this is F+ which is FEI and SP+ mashed together

edit: SP+ has ISU's defense at #13, FEI at #26
