Running game was bad, but we still should have won without it. Quinn was doing well with certain routes and play calls, and Sark went away from them when it mattered. I don't believe for a second that UGA was adjusting and taking those plays away from us.

The double fake pass reverse whatever the fuck playcall was AWFUL. Way too cute. Please learn from this, Sark.

Yeah and we would’ve won if our kicker made one of his two misses. How the fuck is this game on Ewers???

Yeah cause passing from the 3 yard line adds so many yards...stfu you stupid bitch. Haynes also rushed for 100 yards....so go fuck yourself. Haynes outperformed Quinn against Georgia in 1 game vs Quinn's 2. That is the facts you stupid fucking bitch.

You’re bitching about a QB that led us to two playoff appearances. He’s lost 4 games in two seasons and you’re saying he sucks. Stfu moron. You sound like a fuckin aggy

Do not blame the defense for a goddamned thing. The defense is what has kept Quinn in the starting lineup all year and kept Sark from having to make a change.

Look. This game is a vs game.

Their running game was better than ours.

Their O-line was better than ours.

Their defense was better than ours.

Their special teams was better than ours.

Our defense played well but they made more plays in all of these categories than we did and that's why we lost.

Here is how unbelievably unclutch quinn is.

Since 2022, there are a total of TWO games where we won while being behind or tied with less than 7 mins left in the 4th quarter

those are 2023 houston.  Go ahead score 5:30 left in 4th.   And I-state 2022. Go ahead td with 4:45 left in 4th.

I will give him two small points where he scored, but the D failed us.  ou 2023 last year. We took the lead with 1:15 left and D failed us.  And bama 2022, took the lead with 1:29 left and lost (refs fucked us hard).

That being said. He couldn't win GA2 this year,  Wash last year,.... and  tx tech, osu and wash  all in 2022

He literally has not won a game when behind with less than 4:30 on the clock

Card was the qb that took the lead in the bama game.

I'll wait here while you go back and read my posts about Quinn. I have been as balanced as it gets. He does some good things. He does plenty of bad. He is good, but ultimately he is just not good enough. If you could get your nose out of his ass for more than 5 seconds you could see that for yourself.

You are here after we ran for 31 yards and had a million penalties talking about Quinn. The special teams, O-line, and running back threads should be blowing up instead. 31 yards bro. 100 yards in penalties. 2 missed field goals and a fake punt in an obvious situation run on us.

This shit isn’t worth time. If y’all really believe he’s the reason we lost today you need to rethink how you watch football and maybe make some hard life choices. Are there that many people here that didn’t actually graduate from Texas that didn’t get any of the critical thinking skills that came with that degree? Geeeeezus what a beating.

We have the best defense in all of CFB and we're going to waste it because our offense has become completely dysfunctional. But if "only 4 games in 2 seasons" consoles you, that's fine.

Wahh wahhh wahhh

Why isn’t our QB throwing for 500 yds and 6 TDs against a team filled with NFL guys. Shutup idiot

Quinn is not the reason we loss this game and if you believe you’re a moron. If you’re saying he sucks, you’re down right regarded

Didn’t Quinn also put us in the hole vs ou in 2023?

We ran for 240+ against aggy and we still couldn’t score in the second half of that game. Whether we run all over a team or get stuffed by Georgia, Quinn can barely score enough TDs to keep us in a game. And -27 of those rushing yards were due to Quinn’s sacks.

The rushing game sucked and Quinn’s 350+ passing yards still couldn’t get us enough points to beat a Georgia backup. Bert getting all the blame shows how much his leg has kept us in games because Quinn fails to get us in the end zone. If we just scored some fucking TDs when we had good field position, there wouldn’t be any kicks for Bert to miss besides the XPs.

retarded take

You're right. I am here talking about Quinn Ewers. In the got damned Quinn Ewers thread. Imagine that. Clearly that must mean I am a big meanie head that doesn't like him.

Take your ball and go home already. Your schtick is so tired.

It's not even about throwing for that it's about extending drives and creating plays. If the play isn't perfectly designed for him he can't fucking do shit. He's an absolutely the weakest point on this fucking team.

I went to the O-line and RB threads and you aren't posting there. Why are you here instead? Today isn't the day to be here bitching. You should be over there bitching and in the ST thread.

I hope more than anything we figure this shit out in the playoffs and win it all. But a lot of these issues go away next year with Arch at the helm. Will be a different offense that won't need perfection to score a lot of of points.

I hope and do agree to a certain degree.... Arch's strengths and ceiling will help because of his legs and ability to throw deep..... But we will take a step back most likely on the OL, at TE, and perhaps at WR, at least early so the offense efficiency or effectiveness may be about the same although I think it will be much more fun to watch and we should be much more explosive.

Who the fuck crowned you such that you can tell me where I should or should not be posting? QB is the most important position in the fucking sport and ours is, IMO, the weak link in our offense.

Sam Ehlinger finished his career with a 3.4 ypc average. There’s a reason he was a broke-ass version of Tebow

1. College QB sack yardage is subtracted from their rush yards. Sam was a threat to run the football abd denses had to account for it. He hung 48 on OU and ran all over Kirby Smart’s defense.

2. The Tebow reference is irrelevant. Tebow played for Urban Meyer’s UF teams that were loaded with talent. Sam had to play for some of our shittiest rosters with a coach that’s currently struggling at Florida Atlantic.

Bond has been hurt for weeks, and it's made a difference, he went from the leading receiver to almost an afterthought. It would have been better to have just set him down till he got healthy with the bad ankle. He just kept hurting it every week. Today he finally just had to hop off the field. This also why he can't block. He was a certain first round draft choice till the injury. He will still get some consideration because when healthy he is a real weapon

You are actually wrong about Ewers.  You speak about him like you’re his agent.  Like many have said he is a decent college QB who will get a NFL GM fired if he gets drafted too high.  I’m guessing he gets drafted in the 4th round and never amounts to anything in the NFL.  Now, did he lose this game.  Partly, but there is blame on the O line, Sark’s play calling, PK’s play calling in the second half (should have spied and blitzed the shit out of that kid the entire second half), and yeah, the refs didn’t exactly help us in the game.  Now since this is the Ewers thread, is there anyone here who actually has confidence that Ewers will lead the team to a victory at the end of a big game with clutch throws?  He seems to screw up quite a bit when the game is on the line.  He is the anti Tom Brady.

Also, and this should go in the Sark thread but when you do a first down play that doesn’t work, whether you ran it or passed it, on second and long, calling a run play must have the lowest percentages of success for keeping a drive alive as it just leads to a 3rd and long which is tough to move the chains.  By the way, Sark isn’t the only one that does this and I can’t understand it as statistically it leads to a drive stalling a high percentage of the time.

They crowded the LOS with their LBs and DBs played soft in coverage for the most part. They were daring Ewers to beat them with long drives.

QE thre me for over 350 tonight with several drops missed in. If our kicker does his job we win this game without any overtime.

Hey dummy we threw for over 350 today - he is not why we lost this game.

We lost because of a bunch of reasons, and QB execution was certainly one of them. This loss is not squarely on Quinn, but he had chances to win it and he didn't.

I will say this yet again. Quinn Ewers is good, but he is not good enough.

Imagine coming in here TONIGHT and claiming that Ewers was the wink lin when we ran for 31 yards, missed two fields goals and got played by a fake, and had 100 yards of penalties. Lol

That has nothing to do with what was said.

He simply said the run game struggled because they knew our passing game was inept. I wouldn't go as far as saying inept, but I think Georgia came in with the mentality of "let's make Ewers beat us." It's pretty clear that Sark thought the same thing with all those early quick throws.

Their entire gameplan was to crowd the LOS with their linebackers to 1) stop the run game 2) generate pressure. They were willing to give us those short and intermediate passes because they didn't think Ewers could consistently beat them with those type throws. Georgia was right.

Then maybe we shouldn't have committed so many drive killing penalties?  I mean..... does the QB have to do everyfuckingthing?  Why didn't the motherfucker stop the very detectable QB draw as well.  Fucker!!!

The reality is Sark's offense with Quinn has never been consistently good enough. We underperform the majority of the time. It feels like things have to go perfectly in order to score at a high rate and reach the potential that is there.

Sark has curated his offense so specifically to Quinn's "strengths" that we can't turn on a switch and get things humming when needed. Sark fell back into his typical offensive playcalling for Quinn at a time we needed to not fuck around and just sling it down the field.

Hoping for the best in the playoffs but can't wait to get out of this finesse bullshit next year.

Are you seriously trying to say that our QB was the one that turtled in that game?

Was he the one that went conservative on playcalling?

Was he the one that instructed our offensive line to commit several false starts?

Did he make Todd Orlando’s defense give up 3 TDs on a span of 8 minutes?

That is a brain dead counter argument.
