Batted ball at the line. Fumble trying to run. Blocked punt. Somehow you guys think all 3 of those are Quinn's fault.

Not all of them, just 2 out of 3. Both the batted ball INT and fumble from Quinn inside the aggy 15 is still pretty shitty and resulted in 0 points.

Gentlemen. It's time to close this chapter. He's not going to get it done, and arguing about his deficiencies isn't solving anything. He's limited, he's always injured, and he's frail. He's like 6'1 and 195 lbs. He's done as well as we could hope for, but he isn't winning it all for us. We should thank him for getting us on the right track, but other than that, I don't know what to tell you.

That should have been 6, no question. He had some deeper throws that were money tonight, but this miss was really bad and very costly.

35 minutes ago, Thatguy said:

For that to be 6 he would've had to throw it over the opposite shoulder. You know.....how he did in the ez to the same receiver that couldn't track it. You guys are nothing if not predictable.

Honestly, he should use his last year of eligibility and get more snaps.

I’m sure arch will be ok with sitting another year

To be fair, he didn't say using his last year of eligibility at Texas. But that point has been covered multiple times before. Most agree Quinn is encouraged to move on, or if he were allowed to stay, he would have to compete for the position. I don't see Sark annointing him the starter at the expense of Arch Manning or even the message it would send to future recruits. Conventional wisdom says if the competition is close, you go with the new talent with the higher ceiling.

No, it’s because you are shit talking easily a top 3 QB we have ever had here because he isn’t reaching your video game stats. Calling current players pussies when the site is actively trying to build a relationship with the team, players and athletic department is the other.

He's no where close to top 3 QB, lmao at you even suggesting that....

Layne, Street, Vince, colt......all fucking better....he's a distance 4th at best. So stfu

You even suggesting he's easily a top 3 QB in program history just shows how fucking delusional you Quinn fan boys are

It's ride or die with Quinn, fellas. That's just the way it is.

I’m not so sure about that.  We were in the playoff regardless of today’s outcome.  It’s win or go home from here on out, and while it certainly has felt Sark passed on many an opportunity to make a change this season, I think underperformance in a playoff game might just be the impetus

Why though? If he’s going to turn the ball over multiple times a game, just give the ball to the Freshman. I’m sure he could manage a couple of bone head picks too. I love Quinn. What are we doing here though? Protecting feelings or winning championships? If we’re just here to protect Quinn’s plummeting draft stock, cool. I won’t get too invested in a deep run.

I'll believe it when I see it.

You think Quinn Ewers is a top 3 quarterback ever here? And you’re calling other people drunks?

No shit.  In terms of actual production when it matters, I'd rather have Ehlinger over Quinn

Your idiocy knows no bounds. Both throws were wildly inaccurate such that the shoulder he threw to was completely irrelevant. He was short and wide on both and Moore couldn't get so much as a finger on either one.

Again. You don't know what you are looking at. First throw was inaccurate. OT throw was thrown away from the DB but Moore was looking to the side the DB was on. If he was reading DB positioning he would look over that shoulder. How else do you think QBs execute back shoulder throws? You throw the receiver open.

Quinn is not "easily" top 3. No fucking way anyone is putting him ahead of the VY, Colt, Street trio. And Bobby Layne was certainly better if you adjust for the era, but those comparisons get pretty tricky given how different the game looks now.

But to say that Quinn is appreciably better than the Ehlinger, Major, Simms tier is just wish casting. He has some physical traits that are better, but he's also been surrounded by some pretty elite talent (and two stout defenses) these last couple of years.

This fanbase was calling for Ehlinger to leave.

I would’ve loved to have seen Sam with Sark for a year. Casey Thompson was great in the bowl game but clearly wasn’t the guy for Sark.

He threw a single pick. The other ball hit Bond in both hands. The defense didn't play well when we needed them to.

Dude, that throw was terrible. It was a creampuff throw to the edge. Bond did him zero favors fighting for it after it was tipped into the air, though, but it was very ill-advised to be thrown in first place.

I could see some QB desperate P4 team throw a stupid amount of money at Quinn to portal and use his last year of eligibility. If his draft grade is day 3, he might be smart to take it.

Quinn is a celeb and I think he has a strong arm. Maybe he’s best suited for programs with lesser expectations and pressure?   I think Quinn could start for 85% of fbs programs next year.  I don’t believe the spotlight suits him

Sam probably wrecks this Georgia team with his running ability.

This where we started. Then people started talking about the other throw. What are you on about?

It's super easy for you to tell me that I don't know what I'm looking at but that doesn't make it true. Literally nobody on here has said they agree with basically anything you are saying about these throws. You're not some well schooled student of the game. You're just a stan.

I thought he had a strong arm, but then he floats passes that need a little zip and chronically under throws deep balls.

Then why did you say all time? Does that mean something else in your mind?
He probably isn’t even a top 3 QB in this millennia.

I could say all time and still be right. This board will say Wally and the beaver from the 1940s and 50s and pretend they were some godsends

Yes invoke Aggie for some reason, that will get people in your side.

The truth about CFB is nothing before 1970 is in anyway impressive and full of kids who couldn’t play for a varsity HS team today

Makes idiotic statement about all time QBs then converts to huehuehue since 1970.....same as aggies saying well since they stopped being military school.....such a braindead argument.

The truth is that Quinn makes tons of jaw-dropping throws:  those that make you say " holy shit how did he fit that in there?" and those that make you say "what the fuck was he thinking?".

Both are true.  More natural talent than most guys we've had on campus, and very pedestrian game-processing abilities.  So, you take the bad with the good or you move on.  Sark has chosen the former.  Next year is almost surely a non-issue, I cannot imagine a scenario where even a returning Quinn wouldn't be in a fight for his life as starting QB, and I doubt he would win it over Arch, simply because it's time to move on.
