You are actually wrong, I'm sure someone else would be happy to provide evidence to that fact. There are laws very specific to these things, I'm out, have somewhere to be. If no one provides the evidence I suggested I will do the work this evening if I have the chance.

You’re a fucking idiot dude.

TBH I think a lot of people see quinn as the guy who's holding this extremely talented roster back. They aren't really wrong either.

At the current moment we aren't that talented on the offensive side of the ball. Not sure why everyone thinks that. The upper part of the SEC has more skill players on offense than we do currently.

Most of it.
And with this admission, people still don't think Arch would be the better choice lol. If your QB makes Peyton Manning look like Michael Vick, that's a massive disadvantage. Not only can he not move away from pressure,, he will self sack himself on his own with no real pressure.

outside of RB (wisner made an all-sec team), their is not a talent issue on offense. Georgia would kill to have the Texas WR corp.

8 or 9 of the 11 starters on offense will be drafted

Regarding WR, as highly as I think of Golden, would you rather have Golden/Bond or AD/X???

TE is effectively an upgrade to be sure.

RB, we're doing OK but damn we miss CJ.

I think Worthy and Mitchell are higher end receivers but both receiving groups are filled with NFL talent so the would you rather doesn’t really work. If our receivers were what we had in 2021 I’d agree that there could be a debate. Quinn had 3 nfl guys last year. He has 3-5 nfl guys this year

- This is the best offensive line we've had since...???

- Kelvin Banks has been Quinn's left tackle for all 3 years until injury vs. A&M. Possible top 10 pick in the NFL draft. 5th year SR Center. Inconsistent but talented RT that might declare for NFL draft with 1st or 2nd round grade.

- Deepest WR room in years. In 2023, Texas had 3 wide receivers with 10 or more catches for the season (X,AD,Whitt). Texas has 5 WRs with 20 or more catches so far this year (Bond,Moore,Golden,Boldin,Wingo). All are expected to play in the NFL.

- TE Gunnar Helm 49 catches and flying up draft boards.

- Wisner 3rd team All-SEC at running back.

Thats insane. What an insult to our actual really awesome players on that side of the ball.

How much of Sark's playbook/playcalling is neutered by having a QB who can't run or even move the pocket due to the ankle injury? 40-60%?

Well he did run pretty well against ATM on said ankle..

But in general, Quinn's deep ball issues are probably just as limiting to playbook as his mobility. Sark isn't exactly known for dual threat QBs anyway. The sucktitude of the running game also has impacted playcalling for sure.

It all makes sense now.
You’re mentally handicapped.

In one post, you lost every debate you’ve been trying to win for weeks.

We can shut the Quinn thread down now and declare the victors.

Is it? Golden is our best offensive player at the moment, maybe Helm unless he is pass blocking(holy shit that was a disaster). Weisner is the only RB who doesn't cough it up and gains some yards. It is completely on him as he is the only one that can be trusted. Banks....out, both guards got pulled against Georgia. For what? Stellar play, no. Moore and Wingo are Both struggling to catch the ball. Bond has been injured and a non-factor for what 4 weeks now and the QB has some epic mental lapses in judgement in between his stretches of near stellar play. It would be a compliment to say the offense is consistent. Well, they are consistent at being inconsistent. All the guys gonna get drafted, must be a talented offense. Sure but are they any good as a team. No, not really, not on a consistent enough basis. Even Quinn is gonna get drafted they say. Well, he must be good right? No? How does this really work then?

The offense has sucked in stretches and been good in stretches. Are they talented, sure but they damn sure aren't consistently playing good as a unit. That is fucking obvious. Everybody in here wants to blame the QB, there are at least 11 others that share a significant percentage of that blame including the HC/OC.

I can say it again a different way if you'd like. I would take Worthy/Mitchell over a healthy Bond/Golden, but the difference isn't huge. All four are legit NFL dudes.

I don't know how he'll do at the Combine, but Golden passed the eyeball test from Day 1 at Texas and has delivered ever since. He just looks like a pro WR out there. Great player.

I'd definitely take the former over the latter.  Golden is a solid next level receiver, Bond seems to be a bit checked out, and I'm not sure it's all injury.  Worthy was electric and Mitchell was one of the most clutch receivers in recent history, across two programs.

There were stretches where Worthy seemed checked out too.

Banks - drafted
Majors - drafted
Campbell - drafted
Cam - drafted
Bond - drafted
Golden - drafted
Helm - drafted
Wingo - drafted

Wisner - maybe drafted
Moore - maybe drafted

Conner - undrafted

Yeah no talent!

I said currently. As in this very moment. As in what we looked like playing Georgia.

Bond-hurt not a factor for weeks.

Golden-Awesome

Moore-meh

Wingo- not ready yet

RBs-meh

Helm-solid

Banks- great

Williams- tons of upside but not there yet

Interior of the O-line-decent

Tenn, Ga, SC, and Ole Miss are as good as we are or better as an offensive unit at this very moment. Now Bond healthy. Wingo as a junior. Baxter back healthy. Williams next year. This isn't the big12. All these guys have talented rosters. At this very moment we have one good receiver. A decent TE. Our line cannot consistently open holes. Our backs cannot get their own yardage. The right side of our line is responsible for 26 sacks this year.

You are judging on potential. I am talking about current play. Wingo will be great but he isn't right now. Still learning.  Bond hasn't been right for weeks now. The interior of our line has struggled vs some pretty light boxes. We are all pissed about the lack of hardware for our guys but if you start naming other guys in the SEC you can name quite a few better before you get to our dudes. I think we are so used to the big12 that we forget this is a different league. Georgia, SC, Tenn, and Ole Miss all have better backs than we do. Bama, Tenn, and Ole Miss all have better receiving corps than what we are currently trotting out there. Georgia, Ole Miss, and Tenn all have better lines than we do from a man to man basis. We have one really really good lineman.

Wash.  Maybe edge Golden/ Bond.

The deep balls overall are inconsistent with both groups.

Feels like intermediate is more automatic with Golden Bond.

And thus far red zone TD throws seem even as well.
