I don’t drink at all during games, which is why I’m the most correct poster on game threads and this one, while everyone else is embarrassingly stupid.

@closetohumping tried to make things personal by insinuating I’m poor for having a home/rental on Stassney by posting about the prices at an Asian restaurant from 5 years ago.

You started the name calling and all I said was I’m not bothered by a guy on stassney calling me names.  The Applebees and Chinese comment had nothing to do with being poor or not poor.

you also said I lived in Huntington Beach.  Blatant lie

You totally started with the name calling and been doing it this whole thread.  You also trolled the thread by doing Carson beck pbp vs GT. A game where he threw for 5tds.  Waste of bandwidth as nobody here thinks beck is better than Quinn

Not at all. You have no memory of the Arkansas or Kentucky wins where dominated the 4th quarter running the ball

You are using Arkansas and Kentucky, two of the worst teams in the SEC, as examples of our domination in the second half? Not outscoring oir opponents in 6 games is not by design! If we could flip the switch and score in the second half if we needed to, we would have against UGA. A One dimensional game plan in the second half doesn't work against good competition, if they don't have to fear your pass game.

Dies Quinn get credit for UK and aggys second half points?

Credit him with whatever you want.  Einstein said we got outscored in 7 straight second halves, no qualifications.

Correct, 6. "Ran out the clock" is another way of saying we held on for dear life when we couldn't score points like we wanted to.

Tell me you didn't watch the games without telling me you didn't watch the games.  Holy shit.

No Im enjoying my day with my dad, while you bleed out before it’s even noon. Should I pick up some jerky in Hillje for you?

Nice surrender.

Maybe you should enjoy your day with your dad instead of posting on the internet.

outside of Florida down the stretch of the season I've seen a starting QB be bad in the second half of games so much so the coach literally took the ball out of his hands to run clock. You can contrive some romanticism shit about Sark just inserting dominance or whatever the fuck you want, but reality is Quinn isn't good in the second half.

Numbers don't lie

People were saying how we can't run an offense without being great at throwing the deep ball and with a QB who couldn't run and i pointed out how Brady made a career in an offense based around the short passing game while being relatively immobile.

And yet Brady could throw the long ball if necessary. Brady also had size Ewers will never have and incredible durability that Ewers has never shown he can have.

that is the last 3 weeks. Texas is averaging 5.7 pts in the second half. Just behind the prolific offenses of Florida State and Northwestern. Ranking in the cool 120s

Jesus, that's pathetic.

There are posters on here that I genuinely like, agree with on most things, but disagree with on this one. You are one of those guys. That said there ARE also guys who take the Quinn stuff too far. Like Simms far and of all fanbases we should know this. Paid or not we are on the doorstep of pushing another player to the point they don't feel comfortable coming back to the 40. I know for a fact that Quinn is NOT enjoying his experience here at Texas and it was very hard for him to come back here for another year. If I know that about him coming back last year imagine where he is mentally about it this year. What you guys don't understand is that everyone reads this board. They don't interact but they read. Keep that in mind. You guys may not think Quinn is good but he is still one of our own.

If the bold is true, then he's even more sensitive than I thought. There wasn't some huge outcry regarding his play last year that I recall. There was clearly a drop-down at QB when he got hurt and Maalik had to take over. There's no chance a healthy Ewers comes close to losing the K-State game for example. We should've lost that one. He was lights-out in the Big 12 title game and for the most part was good against Washington. We just took too long to get going and I was not a fan of the last several plays of that game, either the calls or the execution of the passes. Still, heading into this year it was clear he was a Heisman hopeful QB1 for this team and Arch would take over he inevitably left for the NFL. And the season started well -- and then he got hurt. Again. He's been a shell of himself -- save for some glimpses of greatness vs Florida or a few throws here and there. But our offense is stuck in the mud, especially in the second half. Ewers has not been great in the second half. Probably because he hasn't properly healed.

If you want to waste your day feel free. What causes recruits to look elsewhere is known and fan behavior on social media is absolutely one.

In the NIL era the money speaks so much louder than anything Clem says about players on internet message boards.

SEC Rant is a cesspool of the worst shit imaginable online and SEC schools continue to rake in talent hand-over-fist.

Imposing your will on another team by running the clock out in the fourth quarter*

Pretty sure the preseason plan wasn't grinding games to a close with our 3rd- and 4th-string RB's but it's become a necessity since our preseason Heisman-hopeful QB1 cannot get (or stay) healthy.

I don't care.  We won all but one of them and lost the other in overtime.  What are you exactly prioritizing here?

Improving our offense. The weakness has been clear for weeks and it finally caught up to us when we faced a good team. You chose to bury your head in the sand and some of us would like to see the problem fixed.

It's really too bad Sark is more interested in blowing QE and pissing off Arch.  Dammit, Sark.

You begging me to do your homework, after already posting an example of social media gone wrong, while I’m driving is something. At least we got a Jamarkus McFarland reference that went over your head out of it

You posted an example of a coach talking shit and are pretending that’s the same as a surly poster.
Why are you posting and driving? Aren’t you supposed to be enjoying your day with your dad? You can just say you were full of shit instead of all the excuses. It’s ok, we all knew that anyway.

I’ve admittedly been off the Quinn train for most of this year and have been direct in my criticism. I don’t think we come close to winning a championship with him behind center. We may lose in round 1.

But it doesn’t really matter. Sark keeps starting him so there’s not much choice but to get behind him and hope for the best.

In the end, it’s Sark’s decision that truly confounds me. I think Sark is a smart guy—so he either sees what we don’t, or he made promises he can’t break.

Were the aggy and UK games such blowouts that we were killing clock for the entire half?  Or worse yet, we wanted to give them a couple of tds to make it interesting?  Because if that's the case you could say that's what happened in Ga1 as well.

Also, we scored 16 points in Ga2

I'd say it's around a push, but Klubnik has 33 TDs and 5 INTs on the year. So it's not stupid.

certainly not crazy especially considering the running aspect but do have to remember that Quinn missed 2 games against weak competition where he could have improved his numbers a good bit and have a Florida type game.  Did Klubnik miss any games?  how'd he do against Georgia?

Was Vanderbilt a blowout where Quinn struggled in the second half?
