This thread is like a bad thriller movie. Everyone plays their role as expected over and over again. The movie goes on forever with no climax and no ending. You fall asleep on your couch out of boredom, and when you wake up, it's still going.

It is like the Groundhog Day movie. I periodically check out this thread by clicking the last page and it reads the same as the last time I visited. I suspect this thread will be in this mode long after our season is over.

And Quinn gets 0 credit for putting the ball in a place where receivers can catch the ball in stride? I know you watch other games? How many quarterbacks are throwing as many routes like we are? We throw routes to get YAC. Other people throw a lot of curls, outs, and comebacks. We throw arrows, rails, drags, posts, and digs.

Yeah, nobody else does those things in the passing game.

Hey, have we solved anything here yet?

Just checking.

We've proven C cups are superior to B cups. Further, no matter how much evidence, data and facts are produced to support that reality, there are always people who choose to be wilfully ignorant. However, that's not really solving for anything specifically because in reality, only you can choose C cups.

Are you saying Texas is the only team that throws crossing routes, slants, posts, etc? This is silly

Sark also does a lot of things to make things easy on Quinn. 43% of his throws are Play action . 18% of his throws are screens. 12% are RPOs. That leaves only ~25% of his throws being pure drop back.

Worth reposting this:

Quinn has highest TWP rate on 10-19 yard throws on that roughly 25% of throws. It's also interesting that he has the highest TWP percentage on full field.

Where did you get this?

Looks like the Ewers sucks at the deep ball might deserve some reconsideration.

Why no Dart?

So a guy that has not really had any time off since having a fairly significant ankle sprain and is still showing the lingering impact of an oblique injury is getting 2 weeks off, and everyone is touting the doom and gloom of the Quinn in the playoffs?

What about the fact that the offense went way down hill when Bond (and to an extent Moore) got hurt? Be happy that these guys are getting time to heal and then if they look like shit during Clemson, then go back to bitching.

It was from some YT video that was posted here....

image.png.cb9949e5e29a4c850853fbff359f0f67.png

14/41 34% 6 TD 1 INT on 20+ yard passes - The issue with Quinns deep balls is the amount of wide open receivers he misses either by overthrown behind on post routes or severely underthrowing.
40/73 54% 4 TD 4 INT - This is painful because it's essentially redzone type distances. It is quite literally abysmal and what the guys in the video made fun of on his 10-19 yard throws that aren't PA/RPO.

Good set of B cups is great, except when they’re keeping you from a spectacular set of C cups you’ve had some nice initial experiences with, just sitting over there waiting to be motorboated.

I vote we have 3 QB threads for Arch next year

1. "PRAISE BE! Arch Manning" thread - pumpers only

2. "DAMN THEE! Archibald Manning" thread - debbie downers only

3. "Why are we talking about Manning so much?" thread - all those that want to say why are you posting about manning in thread 1 and/or thread 2.

Your definition of “stride” must include throwing the ball behind the receiver or having them slow down to catch the pass. Quinn does it constantly and it disrupts the routes. Look at this ball he threw in practice. Just fucking hit a guy and don’t make him change direction or turn back for the ball and they’re more likely to be headed all the way to the end zone. It drives me crazy how he has so much arm talent and still can’t put the ball in front of a receiver in stride.

LOL wut?  It's literally something he does better than 99% of college QBs.  Arch can't come close.  Deep ball?  Yup, much better.  Short screens, etc.?  Nope.

Cherry picking a bad throw in practice doesn't negate dozens and dozens of perfectly thrown (and difficult) throws in live fire.  For fuck's sake, some of you are a real beating.

People should also go back and watch our O-line in the 4th quarter of the SEC championship. It's a fucking miracle we came back and had a chance to tie much less win. Our line was getting blown the fuck up. Those slow developing plays cannot be called against Georgia. That was a fucking disaster.

Not only should those slow developing plays not be called, but they shouldn't be called over and over and over and over again. However, if we are fortunate enough to play UGA a 3rd time, they will be called over and over and over again.

Quinn's greatest asset is his accuracy in the short game. He throws screens and swing passes better than Arch based on what we saw in 2 games. Quinn puts a very high percentage on that front shoulder. Slants and crossers can be argued. . His mid-range game had been very good up until this year. It has been much more inconsistent. Deep ball is an issue.
