Dibs second string, since that’s everyones fave.

I’m sure you’d say the first stringer with a torn oblique pounded you better.

fwiw there’s a post in this thread where one of our posters has a friend whose kid is on the team, and the kid says that Arch was lights out in practice, clearly better than QE. sark just did not want to make such a big move when he felt he could win it all with QE anyway.

I must have missed that I think.

Those players would’ve all had worse season records at Texas with a worse QB running things. Pretty simple.  And I will not be doing that because that sounds dorky as fuck.

Well, they won every game the backups started.

If we had better QB play we win a title. Sad you can't see that. Quinn held this team back.

If we had better OL play we win a title.  Majors and Williams got their asses whipped on consecutive plays against Ohio State.

that’s cool. Ewers self sacked multiple times and had multiple turnovers. A QB with any semblance of athleticism and use of his legs helps the line. Instead we have a statue fucking idiot back there

colt mccoy played behind two o lines that were vastly inferior to QE’s last two o lines and he finished runner up for the heisman both times. colt also had to be his teams leading rusher and never had the likes of bijan robinson or jonathan brooks to take pressure off him. unfortunately QE is closer to case mccoy than colt mccoy when it comes to making plays outside of his first read, and his errant passes, self sacking, and general skittishness made the OL’s job that much harder. the OL did a lot more for QE the last two years than the other way around.

Could you imagine Quinn doing the herpa derpa against aggy this season? It would have been great.

Not saying “most stated” isn’t correct, but harsh and too soon. Damn I would’ve liked to see what an “injury free” Quinn could do over one season.

It is what it is though, man.  We had the roster we had, and if QE wasn’t the guy don’t blame it on him, blame it on the coach responsible for the roster.  Personally I was disappointed we didn’t kick everyone’s ass and win two consecutive MNCs, but that shit is hard to do, and we came close.   A decent kicker would have gotten us there.  A lot of blame to go around.
