oh yeah that’s me, famously backing down from confrontation. 🙄 god damn you are stupid when you’re butthurt, which unfortunately is very very often.

i didn’t see your dumbass post throwing down the gauntlet about quinn being drafted, something which absolutely nobody on the planet thinks won’t happen. no shit he’s going to get drafted. several of the latest mocks have him going in the second round to seattle, so please don’t break your arm patting yourself on the back for that wild prediction. LOL. him getting drafted doesn’t mean he’s going to be any good, just like him doing that bit with gruden doesn’t mens that he’s going to be good. you’re such a turd when you’re upset jj. awesome prediction though. way to go out on a limb. lol

Holy shit you are the biggest pussy on this board.  Your projection is world class.  You are so wholly incapable of seeing that you exhibit 10X of what you ascribe to others.

That's the most normal Quinn has been in an interview that I can recall dating back to his HS days. Good job Quinn.

I thought the same thing.  I wonder if he's just uncomfortable in front of groups?  It bodes well for how he probably comported himself with a few NFL execs at one time during the combine, pro day, etc.

Apparently Quinn is still representing Ohio State.

Riley Leonard ahead of anyone who can throw a forward pass is a real bad take.  I don't care how tough he is, he can't run a modern passing offense.  He's a worse passer than Tebow was.

Man that was fun as hell to watch.  Trying to get some work done and now I am an hour behind, but totally worth it.  So many gems in there.

First reaction from me was the first minute or so in when it put up Long Ball Accuracy as one of his strengths.  I was like - huh?  But then they put up five passes of 30+ yards v. Alabama and you think well that's a good counter.  Like that debate is going to get snuffed out in a Gruden hour long QB video.  LOL.  We've only been debating it for years on here.

I think that the audible on the Blue run that Sark gave him credit for in the post-game was great to find out that it was a clear part of the game plan and not something that Ewers just magically audibled of his own to hit a huge play.  I think Sark gave Quinn all the credit.

I think one of the most interesting parts was Ewers discussing the benching v. Georgia.  He obviously is still a little salty about it which is what you would expect/want from an NFL draft pick.

The line about at Texas we don't run drawings was awesome.  It shows his football IQ, the IQ of his receivers, and Quinn's understanding of his WR's IQ and ability to adjust.

I am as hyped as a person could possibly be about the Arch years and what is about to come, but that video was a fantastic insight into the greatness of Quinn Ewers at the college level.  Whether you love him/hate him, think he can throw the long ball or criticize his pocket presence, think he's going to be elite at the NFL level or flame out, or think Arch should have started all year - Quinn is a a very likeable guy.  You can't help but root for the guy and give thanks for him giving it his all at Texas while he was here.

Go prove all the haters (including myself at times) wrong Quinn.

I was actually pissed off at Gruden for him giving Ewers shit for trying to improve his footwork. Bitch, that's Quinn knowing he has a weakness and working to get better at it.

In fact I found Chucky so insufferable I couldn't watch past about halfway.

It feeds his victim complex. It's what keeps him coming back to this thread and the NFL draft thread and spewing an endless stream of dumb shit.

a)you should be giving him shit. there was absolutely no reason to bring my name up, and to hear you describe it, i was just chomping at the bit for someone to mention my name so that i could run in here and satiate my “victim complex”. if that’s true, then you absolutely should be giving jj shit for bringing me into this out of nowhere.

finally, how is me calling you guys out on your shit a victim complex? the denizens of this thread crushed me for three years for telling you you were wrong for acting like QE was this amazing qb when he wasn’t, and now that he’s getting terrible draft grades and supposedly the 10th best qb in a terrible qb draft class and im calling people on it that’s a victim complex? i’ve said it once before and i’ll say it again:

”lol. okie dokie.”

You don't have any idea what a "fit" is you fool.  You're the idiot who said Ewers shouldn't be drafted, not me.  You pollute these boards with your breakdowns and hysteria and you have the fucking gall to point the finger at others?  Kiss my ass.

It IS possible to attack an idea without attacking the person who expresses it, right?

Correct: "Warner and Chucky are guys who know football well and seem to have a very high opinion of Ewers. Their videos show Ewers has great knowledge of how to run a complex offense and outstanding throwing skills. He's got some correctable issues and the injury concerns, but should be an early round pick. The idea that he's ranked below anyone not named Ward or Dart is mystifying."

Wrong: "God dammit, jimmyjazz, there you go again, drinking and posting at the same time! Not that we can blame the alcohol; that would imply that you've got neurons in your shitty skull worth affecting. You have the stinkiest farts in the room; stop eating beans. In fact, stop eating entirely, so that you can pass on and we don't need to read your inane attempts to post. How are you even able to effectively use a computer? That implies a certain minimum level of intellectual processing that is not demonstrated by your posts. Are you dictating to one of the orderlies there are the Home for the Mentally Deficient?"

well see i have this crazy policy where, if i were an nfl gm, i wouldn’t draft anybody who i didn’t think was good enough for the nfl, and i don’t see QE ever making it as a starter in the nfl based on the just totally out-there fact that he was a mediocre college qb and one of the 2-3 worst players on his own offense over the last two years. you see, the same thing that made say, “i don’t care what anyone else says, ive watched poona ford play football, and he’s good enough to play in the nfl”, is what makes me say, “i don’t care about his hype or his big arm, i’ve watched quinn ewers play football and he’s not good enough for the nfl.”

as for the part where my 100% genuine and earnest opinion causes you and dozens of others to just melt down into a puddle of childish emotions, well, that’s y’all’s thing.

Just for fun, let's dig in on this.

1.  NFL teams need more than a starter at QB.  Most carry 3.

2.  Ewers was far better than a "mediocre" college QB.

3.  Being one of the 2-3 worst players on one of the best offenses in college football, IF TRUE, is not necessarily as damning as you think it is.

if i want a backup i’ll go for an nfl vet, not a college kid with as many glaring issues as QE.

and yes, being one of the 2-3 worst players on our last two offenses *is* damning for someone who wants to play the toughest position in sports. name the last college qb who was one of his offenses worst players who then went on to make it in the nfl. it doesn’t happen.

I posted an analysis of NFL QBs on a different thread this morning.  The average churn is likely 18 per year.  Just last year 11 QBs got drafted, and fucking Spencer Rattler was 7th of that group.  I'm sure some got cut, but the average QB makes it 4.4 years in the league.  They need new blood.  Every year.  I won't even address your second point, it's logically silly.

This is the problem I have with you and your ilk. You continue to say that we won in spite of Quinn Ewers, which is just objectively dumb and wrong (and considering our shit run of QBs over the years, insulting to fans of Texas football).

Jaxson Dart was far worse than Quinn against the SEC this year.  Most of Dart’s numbers were put up against turds on the schedule.

hmmm. SEC stats

Dart: 154/244, 63%, 2.321 yards, 9.51 per/att, 13 TDs, 4 ints... 89 carries, 362 yards

Ewers: 175/273, 64%, 1974 yards, 7.23 per/att, 17 Tds, 7 ints.... 36 carries, -63 yards

that doesnt include fumbles lost. I couldnt find fumbles for SEC games only, but Dart had 0 and Quinn had 5 on the season.

i don’t think you know what objectively means. or dumb. or wrong. but if you’d like to actually make the case that QE was one of our better players then by all means, do it.

What's more objective than passing stats and wins?

Oh but wait, that was because of the team, because our other QBs had worse teams, GTFO.
